It looks like a tire insert to me.
Its a vittoria air liner.
The green thing is a run flat tubeless tire insert. Looks like the tire blew off the rim, taking TDG down.
pro's should be riding tubulars not tubeless, it's time to ban tubeless.
The commentators should have known what it was! Just a basic understanding of what the latest tech would seem part of their job spec

Haha…, essa e a combinação do insert e o lÃquido selante. O pneu causou a soltura do aro porque não pode conter lÃquido entre eles, e o insert conserva o lÃquido entre aro e pneu que provoca o desprendimento.
I am staggered that anybody so involved in cycling doesn't know what a tubeless insert is. Shame on you Carlton & Brian. Hookless needs banning.
The most surprising aspect is the commentators not knowing it was a tyre insert. When hitting an object with hookless rims, the air space within the tyre is compressed, thus increasing the pressure which cannot be too high with such rims.
