We spent the day riding with the guys at Freeride Cyprus, they had an amazing Shuttle vehicle and Andreas was a great guide taking us around his favourite trails.
We were riding in the Macheras mountains on some of the trails of the Macheras Bikeland.
Definitely would recommend to come riding here we had an unbelievable day and I would love to come back to ride here again.
Who knew Cypress had this good a trail oh this is it oh Myly holy wow so we’re out here for our first day of down hill with Andreas Andreas you see where they went you see them I saw them they went flying they sent it down the bank oh no oh be really sad if that’s was it de or here I could could die right now I see him is there anything to be uh careful about not really
Oh we good [Applause] first time back shreding again now also got coil truck on it’s nice to have that wheels and tires on again exciting an some sick tracks oh just on the edge of a CO as well you we got the coil shotgun BR it out it’s try oh sick oh
Proper TR it they pretty dry oh that was Unreal here we go back in again Andre well Bo in front small cups this is an absolute Shredder W uh six time down hill Cypress jum and the tracks here are pretty aggressive oh absolutely bombing probably the first time TR to
Downhill checking the D as well oh my God that was exciting put some out [Applause] working oh God [Applause] jum absolutely bombing the coil feels sick everything been so smooth W oh my God they were saying the short trails are about 12 minutes long the long trails are up to half an
Hour wow that was that is insane let’s go oh that’s so much fun that’s unbelievable such a long track is that yeah we not even partway down the hill it feels yeah we’re halfway through sling on the gravel this is the shortest Trail the more that’s mental wow yeah
Boy yeah he’s saying shortest Trail about 12 minutes I don’t like sitting this close this like I got to see where I’m going Andre is just fre popping manuals everywh oh okay I’m back back up so I can see what I’m doing [Applause] oh oh Straing wrong M oh no oh no [Applause] good wow nice so good sick having the bik rack in the back as well is it this is the up left R it’s a beauty it is a beauty you almost beat us down that time it was it was close usually do
Does here we go again the weather’s getting a little bit Rainier but it’s going to be a long one don’t make a difference cuz it stays nice oh yeah so this is supposed to be a half an hour Trail down and better than the last one apparently so it’s [Applause] exciting [Applause] [Applause]

Start pointing down you just go so fast here we go again that was pretty exciting where am I going I don’t know I think they’ve been probably down the stair that was sick I went overshot a turn again it was like when there was like a bombing straight and I just kept
Going different different so this Trail is like exploded to three apparently there’s like that topit in the woods and trees and then we come into this exposed Rocky stuff and then uh and then the bottom changes again so got to look forward to whatever the bottom it’s [Applause] got [Applause]
You do not want to be doing what did earlier flat out edges oh sh abely boming how look how exposed that side [Applause] is go face steep one steep steep yeah steep oh that’s so good deep so we had a choice that split and we’re chosen steep oh [Applause] that wasn’t [Applause] [Applause] real oh my [Applause] God Andre shouted to his feep it wasn’t lying [Applause] no oh did not get that wow that was [Applause] sick oh my gosh oh wow that was unbelievable look how steep the edges are that steep bit was insane oh it’s nice just to stay a little bit behind see what black ones get have up
To they just love seeing right in the back wheel saying all the little white spots on the trees and stuff like toxic caterpillars G they love you do you ever see snakes yeah we do have we do have some viper snakes that are poisonous yeah yeah you want to these but they’re
Mainly in the summer okay in the yeah what was your oh tarantulas you see tarantulas yeah we do have some European tarantulas okay oh I got Bush oh thank you thank you yeah oh good good steamed up already here we go k left of the trail SRE oh says that’s not very far
But to us decent B Trail that was Exciting oh the you is arrived the web oh that was so good we go see the way there oh is that I think we saw a vehicle and there’s a super nly line we C from here oh down that be so exting yeah the wet fall the top of the next
Trail let’s just go a little bit fur edge of a mountain you can see the entire Cyprus apparently when you’re on top of him normally but yeah suck is this we’re at top of one of the biggest hills on mountains Cyprus doing one of the steeper Trails
Down I think but been told apparently there’s some bit that could be too narly that they’ve never ridden it in the W cuz it’s that dangerous that near an edge of a cliff uh so it should be pretty exciting traversing across to get to the top of the trail and it is
Literally so unbelievably Rocky oh that’s sick think it’ll be all right today not sure yet down and just hope you don’t fall off the cliff yeah let’s go there’s a section down here that is so steep that there’s a railing that they’ve recently put on because it’s on the edge of a c Andre is poting out something this is it wow oh my goodness [Applause] oh my goodness oh my God steeper now didn’t make it Ro oh my gosh the flicking rocks sh to me [Applause] whoa just said get spicy as if it wasn’t already It oh oh don’t not want to go down there woo [Applause] there’s another fence which means it’s probably a [Applause] cliff oh oh there’s such big drops to our side as Well [Applause] wi W oh my god oh wow so I think the overall drop of this Trail is like over 700 M so it’s a big old trail we’re not done yet oh they getting Wet here we Go oh I washed out oh unbelievable top of the downhill track now down here Gap jump there can’t quite see it there’s a pad another jump there oh goes along so much good stuff all the way down there big build it’s cleared up now and it goes all the way down the
Hill incredible start ramp but some idiots keep knocking it down um yeah excited I’m excited so we’re just having a little look at it just to see yeah cuz some of this stuff is too big for an Enduro B we’ve been told sounds like and I believe him
Sounds like it’s going to be a bit beyond our skill set yeah exactly here we go oh pleas holy [Applause] wow either do like the double or the triple of the way down yeah I can see that the triple would feel quite Hefty on a small
Bike this is nly downhill tra oh my God holy wow that looked massive that looked massive that was a big [Applause] old oh yeah so this is what they use for the site pris jams which is what Andreas has won so many times oh that looks sick
That did look cold it’s got quite a mellow take off doesn’t it so you have to pull hard yeah in order to clear it that’s more my cup of tea that kind of one prefer that kind of one yeah bit too scared for the big step beautiful B down
There back is so nicely did you build most of this yeah pretty much that’s incredible with the help of the help of some others for sure Andreas one of them we have been digging yeah we have been digging digging digging serious digging yeah I can imagine Andrea sending all
These jumps as well yeah so I’m going to stop a little bit further down show you another drop this is not finished yet but it’s it’s going to be cool yeah filing y this is so much gnarlier than any of the UK oh my God then of the UK downhill [Applause]
Tracks oh my God so you up there it’s like Hardline yeah so we going to put sandbags and then dirt on top and then we’ll figure out if it’s going to go like a bus stop and then into the last SP oh yeah or was just going to go
Straight if you dropped off this and then straight to that b you’d be going so fast it’s too exciting to turn it [Applause] [Applause] off yo yeah boy the speed you come out into the road is ridiculous right here we [Applause] go [Applause] this is the same top as we did
Earlier look at the Ed [Applause] Oh oh yeah [Applause] f [Applause] whoa bu no w oh half way halfway down that trail oh and sure is roosting the oh [Applause] no this is insane whoa oh sick nice one you’re riding so fast considering you’ve not not been riding for months that was Unreal I like them
