A fast commute is fun…I use a specialized tarmac (lowest end model) with a tailfin rack! But totally personal preference…a pokey commute on a cushy bike is fun too in a different way

  2. Unless it’s a long commute this seems like overkill lol. I don’t know what your job is but no fenders or a rack seems like a bad idea too

  3. I miss my fixed gear commuter. It’s with my son at college as his bombproof campus bike. Being a dad, I made sure it has a good front brake, even if he never needs to use it. I’m not your dad, but I still think you ought to have a brake on it, even if you can do the mad skids….

  4. 0/10, no brakes, position is super dangerous in traffic. I mean, if you’ve literally got a TT track for your commute then great but you could be the best best cyclist in the world but you’re never smarter than a stupid driver who isn’t paying attention. (It’s a sweet looking bike but not a good idea for commuting)

  5. goes hard tbh, i’m riding a brakeless rum runner for my delivery job rn. Incredibly stupid and impractical, but i love it and i wish you a lovely commute. hope this isn’t your only bike though, brakeless bikes stay home in any weather conditions

Are you commuting on a velodrome? If yes, awesome!

If you’re commuting on the road, you’re asking to be a road crayon.

  7. 10/10!

No fenders, no IHG, no chain guard, no hub dynamo lights, no rack, no panniers, no frame mounted U-lock, no marathon plus and I bet you don’t even wear a hi-vis rain cape, do ya? Perfect anti-commuter.

I’m guessing you are a lot more flexible than me. I’d fall straight off the front, crushing my ballsack in the process!

Very aero and fast. Definitely my kind of bike that I’d want to commute on since it feels more stable when doing maneuvers.

A messenger bag with spare clothes and wipes would probably add a few lbs but you can take it with you unlike panniers.

Also doubles as a weekend bike as well where you can take it on 4+ hr rides.

If you don’t use an announcer voice in an Italian accent to demean a person when you over take them over on the local bike trail then id leave that bike at home.
