Ritchey makes some of the best gravel/adventure bikes today. Turns out they’ve been doing that for over 4 decades – this was hand built by Tom Ritchey back in 1984. It’s a Timber Wolf, one of his “B-line” frames. As opposed to the “A-line” race bikes, this is built a bit more beefy and inclued rack/fender mounts. I acquired the frame with the headset and seatpost and dug into the parts bin for the rest. Rides like an absolute dream, nothing like steel to mute gravel vibrations.
