I’m looking to buy this bike tomorrow and would appreciate any insights on appropriate pricing. The current owner has upgraded the bike from Tiagra to Shimano 105 5700. New cables. Fully serviced. Mavic wheels w Continental tires. New Cannondale bar tape. Newer Cannondale handlebar, stem and seat post.
Asking $575 and I negotiated down to $475. Does this sound fair?
Currently riding a 1986 steel Nashiki, so this would be a significant upgrade and a starter bike before I buy a more modern road bike in a few years more than likely.

I think that’s an ok deal. There is someone trying to sell that same bike for $700 on eBay (which is wishful thinking)
It has the carbon fork which is nice. Aluminum frames do ride a bit harsher than steel so be prepared for that.
