Take an old bag, add it to the back of it for an additional Brompton bag?
or
Add a basket to it and have a open top solution for things like plants and picnics
or
Add some slats or a board to the bottom and have a versatile front rack for carrying taller items
Modify the tubes and put an Ortlieb pannier onto it.
