CB500X – Solo Norway trip Part 31 – Nice roads and sunshine

This is Part 31 of my trip continuing the journey through Poland. Having left the oddly located but lovely hotel in Bobrowa I headed off toward Chelm. A came across a town with storks nesting on the top of telegraph poles and a very modern looking church in another. Another beautiful day culminating in finding a campsite on the edge of Jezorio Biale, known locally as the white lake. A great day of riding.

The whole journey took me through the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and into Norway right the way up to Nordkapp, the furthest point you can travel by motorcycle or car in mainland Europe and then back through Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Belgium and France over a 7 week period late May – mid July 2023

Around sou town the South came across a town with loads of stalk nests in their Telegraph poles and there’s another one here up there feeding his chick another Nest there another stalk just on the post a family of stalks here I assume there must be water around here see somewhere

Close but just interesting to see and then the same town to the blue Chapel heading towards luin which apparently is a nice city look at that it’s Bridge here now there’s the water now that is quite fun Church whether you’re into churches or not that’s quite something is Sunday there Services going on

Passing through very aquacultural arable land I guess it is moment so it’s cleared out of the forests around over time stretch of road Works maintenance on this bridge no evidence of activity but then it is Sunday so maybe they just packed up for the weekend and who can Blain weather like

This look at it gorgeous just going to try out this petrol station for some food looks like they should do food a little cafe area let’s see I’m not being very successful on the lunch front it’s Sunday po the shops are shut and the petrol stations have a limited

Supply they do their hot dogs trying to avoid the hot dogs but I think the next petrol station I come to I will have to bite the bullet or the hot dog T may be and have that for lunch anyway we’re 66 km away from today’s routing

Destination and from there it’s m my way to the White Lake don’t exactly know what it is but there’s people sat outside look potential is that not the best of lunches uh Pizza actually got two of those a Coke and an ice cream I’m eating the ice cream first cuz otherwise it would

Melt needs must and a little too well that was pleasant enough had a couple of cold pizzas smallish ones and a coke and an ice cream no idea how much it cost don’t think it was that expensive but I shall find out sure when I my credit bill about 62 km from the

Hour routing point of Voda and from there it’s just a few miles to the lake I want to go to I’m hoping to find some campsites around there more stalks just missed one where they had at least three birds or not four in the nest this one you certainly wouldn’t want to park

Sand based stuff which I really don’t fancy so I’ll see if there’s anywhere else if not there’s a couple of hotels for it’s about 20 5 L I think really I’m going to need to uh give the bike a bit of a wash dry sand but won’t do the chain much good that’s

For sure anyway let’s just see what we can find as I drove around the lake there was a sign saying camping this looks like it is here but I think you just pitch up and go but this bit is very lumpy this bit here looks bit better think they’ve got the best flat

Bit okay so we’ve got a campsite for the night it’s I think it’s an extension of the field that I went into and it’s about 15 of a level spot so don’t block anybody in maybe I should go over there was at the toilet who knows what that

Is so it’s a buffet dinner for about £550 let’s face it it doesn’t need to be Norway it could be on your own back door step maybe further away but here we are in Poland beautiful seity scy let’s just get out there and do it if you Can
