I’ve only used this to take my eldest child to the park, but it feels really smooth and surprisingly easy to pull. I was worried that the weight of the trailer and a 3 year old would limit distance, but really not bad. So much functionality and as a non-driver it feels like it’s unlocked some childcare freedoms on my solo days with the kids.
Brompton specific stuff: You can’t fold the bike with the trailer attached so need to prop it up on something else. The clearance from the ground is a little limited – the trailer points down a little, but hasn’t cause many issues going over the many speed bumps near me. I had seen several other posts saying to install the hitch upside down to give more distance from the ground. That doesn’t really seem possible unless I’m missing something extremely obvious. Upside down means that the bracket wouldn’t be able to rotate at all, and I can’t find a ‘backwards’ bracket that would allow this.
…and clearly I was so excited to take this out that I forgot the take off the tag!

Been contemplating looking into this for my own shared experiences with my boys. I’ll investigate this model ; looks super fun and can imagine the shared fun could be lovely moments in the bank for the little ones!
