Hi Folks, just got a deal from a friend on a used canyon roadlite 8 AL SL 2020 for £530. Which was recently serviced. I will be primarily using it to commute to pretty much everywhere. my old trek navigator recently had it’s crankset crack due to old age. Would it be worth it paying such an amount?

It may depend on how many miles it has. Was it used to commute everyday for 4 years? Or just occasional rides on the weekends a few times a year?
Was the service just a tune up or did it include replacing any parts that wear out such the chain, cassette, chainrings, tires?
If not too many miles then 530 may be a fair price.
