I totally stripped my compression bolt on my stem. I tried to the cold weld compound and a spare 6mm inside of it then turn it, but it only broke the weld. The Allen hole is a TOTAL circle. I’ve been looking at stripped bolt kits on Amazon but I am not sure if they will work.
The compression bolt has a little bit of gunk still left from the cold weld residue. When I looked through the bolt before I tried that, I could see my tire through it. I’m not sure if the Allen shape goes all the way through the bolt, I tried to put the Allen all the way through and turn but had no success.

The bikes done throw it away, I’m joking they make tools for stripped bolts just Google it. Like two dollars at like Any hardware store

Sure, don’t do that.
Try loosening the stem bolts and spinning the handlebars around to loosen it. It’s worked for me before
This is really easy to fix.
1) Loosen the hex nuts on the side of the stem where it attaches to the fork tube.
2) Stand at the front of the bike, facing towards the seat, with the wheel firmly fixed between your legs.
3) Twist the handle bars anti-clockwise for several rotations.
4) The top cap should now be loose enough for you to unscrew it by hand.
That’s it.
Many years ago I had the same problem. A buddy had the idea to drill two holes in the top and then I can’t remember if we used two screw drivers or a pliers or what but we were able to stick another tool through the holes and turn that.
In the future remember that you only have to tighten that bolt to get rid of any play in the headset. It shouldn’t be very tight; definitely not tight enough to do this kind of damage ✌️

get a Allen wrench or a torx bit thats slightly bigger than the hole and hammer it in and slowly unscrew it, it worked for me once on a crank set, or you can get a extractor like everybody saying
Get an extraction kit at Lowe’s or and hardware store
First, try a 1/4 inch Allen. It’s just slightly larger than a 6mm. That may involve a hammer.
If that doesn’t work, get a 5/16 drill bit, drill straight down the center just through the bolt head (don’t go too far), then use your bars to break the bolt head off.
Pull out the stub with vice grips.
In the future, if you ever buy a pro bmx fork, almost all of them have top caps with 2 ways to take them off. For example, my r25 fork has an 8mm allen wrench hole, and inside of it is a 6mm allen wrench hole so if you ever round out a hole you have another way to take it off
Get a grinder and grind a slit In The top cap then use a flat head and some pliers
Hammer a flathead into it, vertically and horizontally, then use a Phillips to remove
Anytime I have a rounded of bolt head like that I always take a rubber band and wrap it around the Allen key and shove it down in there the band will fill the grooves in. This has worked for me many times it’s worth atleaste checking out. If you are successful let me know, happy fixing!
