This bike was my first custom build, completed about 2 years ago. It included an 8 speed drivetrain, which was my first time using anything different from a freewheel.

I had to change the front end setup a month later due to some complications. And after many miles (more than a year of riding), I had to harvest this bike’s parts for my new build…

I still have the frame, and I might make it into a proper bike again someday.

(Count the spokes on the rear rim for a surprise!)

    Story of the rear hub:

I could only find a 32h hub locally, and I didn’t want to waste money and time on delivery from Amazon.

Also, couldn’t find a 32h rim in 26 inch (It was a mullet setup, 26 rear and 27.5 front), so I just bought a 36h one and laced the wheel improperly. The wheel stayed true through all my rides, it went out of true as often as a normal wheel!
