If you want to service it, here are instructions. Xxmeow123 on February 25, 2024 3:02 am The outer part with notches is the lock ring. Once that is removed, the other part in the center will come off pretty easily. Looks like a crescent wrench will work on the inside piece.

I’d replace that lockring, it’s pretty chewed up.
