The frame looks well used, but as long as there’s not a lot of rust, personally I don’t mind a well used look on an old frame. I’d just give it a good cleaning, overhaul the bearings, new chain, true the wheels as needed, brake pads as necessary, new bar tape, probably new tires, brake and derailleur adjustment. If the chain is excessively worn you might have to replace the cassette also. But it looks like a nice bike!
That’s a beautiful frame well worth restoration. Keep us updated, I’d like to see the result.
