I don’t recommend using a carbon frame bike for commuting unless you have a safe place to park it. Carbon doesn’t do well with the daily clunk of a U-Lock.
Definitely a nice ride though, especially if you go fast on mild dirt trails!

Yes, but that is a fairly high level cross county race mountain bike. It will be a bit out of place as a commuter.
