This is my Centurion-Cinelli I purchased in 1987. I am the original owner. I raced it for 3 years while in college, built up with a mix of Shimano 600 & Dura-Ace 7400. Shelved it in the 90’s with the intention to “some day re-chrome & repaint” as you see it here. I started down the road of refurbishment over a decade ago, stripping it, repairing a top tube dent and cracked seatlug, getting it rechromed & adding chrome where it didn’t originally exist (mainly both seat stays and seat lug). I purchased a full 11 spd Athena group to update it in 2015 because I want to be able ride it from time to time. Bars, stem, and seatpost are the ones it was originally built up with in 1987. Paint was completed in December 2023 with an exciting build session days afterward! I was able to ride it on New Years Day and my birthday. It rides like I always remembered it…. fantastic!
