I have an older mountain bike I’m hoping to take out on a bikepacking trip. It has 26 x 2.3 Specialized Ground Control tires on it which are good when i need grip but feel like a lot more work to pedal when im just out riding on flat dirt or gravel. Are there any good suggestions with a similar size that would be better for less rolling resistance but still good for dirt roads?

I like this width for comfort but there aren’t a lot of options and everything I’ve found is really knobby like they are meant mountain biking.

Are there any good suggestions out there? Should I be open to smaller diameter tires? Or could these still still he a good option and them being slow just in my head?
