Update on my latest bike build I now call the Mantis. First parking lot test today, no gear changes, no brakes. Feels surprisingly solid. I took it on a short hill climb while standing up, pumping the pedals, and torquing the bars and didn’t feel any weird flexing. Overall great first impressions. Also stable enough to ride it no-hands at pretty low speeds. Next gotta finish welding a few more tubes to the fork and attach the v-brakes.
