  1. Yes. It is great for two bottles but it interferes with frame bags. It will be hard to get one in that gap – I’ve tried. Mine did not work, it gets all crumbled up and interferes with the zippers. If you run a half bag it’s probably fine but I haven’t tried that.

    I really like it to run three bottles in the triangle or put a different bag on the seat tube, like the tailfin downtube bag.

    I wish WT would redesign it to move the angle further outboard to prevent the interference.

    I have some pics of it but I’m drinking beer and eating ribs now. Gnam gnam.

  2. I would say only use this on a steel framed bike. I’ve had problems with aluminum and I would suspect the same frame cracking would happen on carbon. Otherwise, I love it on my Surly.

  3. could be used on a (steel) fork to double capacity, but yeah, it’s not the best idea where your body might hit it with each pedal stroke.
