Could resort to using a tube if you can’t get the tyre to seat. It’s annoying but not the end of the world.

Years ago when tubeless was new to me, I destroyed two tyres a long way from home, no repair kit, so I rode on the flats and banged up my aluminium rims pretty bad. Back home, they would not hold air, until I filed them flat on the face that points towards the tyre. Still riding them 10years later.
