Anyone ever see a stress fracture like this on a spectral?

I’ve had this bike for about 2 months and it had what seemed like a small paint chip upon arrival. I’m fairly new to biking and this is my first carbon frame. I asked someone I bike with who’s been at it for far longer and owned multiple carbon frames, he said it’s a paint chip, throw a sticker on top. I’m annoyed, but excited to ride and go with it. Come to find it’s a break in the carbon and has grown passed the sticker. Anxiously awaiting a guy at canyon to get back to me. He was super nice and understanding, and also said the crack did seem to be very odd
