Almost have a 1989 IBOC Team complete and couldn’t resist taking a few photos while out test riding it today. The previous owner had swapped out anything nice with cheap Trek components so not much is original other than the frame and fork.

Very cool bike! I’ve got a 91 IBOC Sport and a 93′ IBOC Comp. Don’t see many of these in the wild, let alone a team model.
That’s awesome. I grew up riding Mongoose BMX and have a pair of ’88 Mongoose Altas. It’s a shame the brand got sold off to be a big box brand.
