All right so I got a lot of backlash when I traveled back to Germany this time just as much as I got last time everybody was giving me for traveling to ruport the ruport area they said that all of the little cities and towns are ugly as hell and I’m like what
Like I had a really good time you got to think that for somebody that doesn’t uh you know see much of the world and whatnot that was entirely new to me so the saying goes one man’s trash is another man’s treasure and I loved it bro vital was you know not the prettiest
Place but I liked it for what it was same with Essen and definitely dorf I mean dorf we can all agree let’s all Shake Hands on the fact that dorf is one of the prettiest places on the planet so anyways my whole point is I appreciate the little things just as
Much as you know the next person appreciates the little things in for instance America travel to America and appreciate the weird spots that makes sense right

People in the rest of Germany think that the Ruhr area is dirty, because there were lots of mines back in the day. And people are ususally surprised when they see it the first time. The first thing those people say "Wow! Never thought it would be that green". Yeah, the Ruhr area changed. And what's more important. The people there are usually warm hearted. I like to live here ๐
Did you eat a random wild berry right there? Bro almost relegated the rest of his trip to the toilet
This area is the heart of Germany. Donโt let anyone fool you. Glรผck auf!
๐ Germany is not so nice Austria is so mutch better
Looks Bregenz in Vorarlberg Bodensee look at Google
its not trash or a bad place. But u will note the difference soon if u travel to hamburg or Kiel that there are places beyond the Elbe ๐
Pforzheim is the ugliest city ๐ it was bombed by ww2 to over 90% in total. Afterward they wanted to build it up again.. And did it not so good.. ๐ but it haves a river ๐ enjoy it.
And it ist the city of gold and jewelery. Funny. ๐
absolutely…you are so wise. Coming from Cologne (I cannot agree on DUS๐ we hate each other) and beeing 5 times to the US east coast (Jersey, Florida, NY) …you have to appreciate everything as an impression. Germany is not ugly if you can ride with your bike through cities and even though the Ruhrpott ist probably less pretty in comparison to other German cities but I enjoyed dirty NY in a way like Atlanta or New Jersey and Cape Coral. Having the opportunity to see a different country is a pure blessing! โค
Dann komm nach Minden dann kann ich dir z.B. den keiser zeigen und die Aussicht
Yeah, it does make a lot if sense. To be honest, as a German I don't like people who come and visit Munich and Berlin and think they know Germany. I really enjoyed watching your tour discovering the Ruhrpott ๐
Just saying brother, itโs true compared with true beauty of German places they are ugly af. I donโt say u canโt find beauty in them or have a good time BUT look at the most beautiful places and cities/towns/villages beaches countrysides and mountain regions…yeah thatโs what others may wish u would focus on to get the sense of how beautiful Germany is and how much versatility it has to offer. I WISH youโd discover other regions, but I am glad you re having a ball any way no matter where u go bro
The fact that North Rhine-Westphalia does not have cities as beautiful as Bavaria, for example, is why North Rhine-Westphalia and especially the Ruhr area have always been the heart of German industry. Accordingly, it was bombed during World War II. If all of these cities were still as intact as before, no one would go to Bavaria these days.
Go to dresten
Please visit hamburg for gods sake!!
Go come visit Gengenbach in the Black Forestโฆ. than we will Talk about pretty againโฆ
Dรผsseldorf being one of the prettiest places on the planet ๐ maybe itโs true but I canโt see it ๐ever been to singapur ?

Just joking of course
As a person from eastern Germany I can really advise you to visit small Berlin aka Leipzig in saxony
Itโs the best town in the whole world
And also the fastest growing city in Germany in terms of population
Leipzig has a great art and especially music scene and is very left winged and alternative like Hamburg and Berlin but less crowded and western than those two
Leipzig also has great parks and very beautiful old buildings
Pls visit
That would be sooooo awesome ๐
Visit schleswig holstein

As long as you keep coming back ๐๐ธ๐๐ป
Hamburgโค
Ruhrpott rocks
I have been raised in the Ruhrvalley. Many people give it shit. Most of them dont know the area. They think its very industrial, which it was in the past. But it changed A LOT within the past 30 years.
It depends where you are going. Of course, its not as beautiful as somewhere else, but its not as bad as many people make it.
I have been to Italy with my car recently, and I avoided the Autobahns. I can recommend the area around Bad Tรถlz. The forrests there are unreal. Its like in a ferrytale.
I LOVE IT. Thanks for the positive vibes for Dรผsseldorf. I live there my whole life, 55 years now. And Wuppertal is special, many parks around on the Hills, one of the greenest Citys in Germany. I love Wuppertal, because it is very special, with its lovely places and streets especially around the Luisenstraรe, with its nice cafes and Restaurants and many old houses. And if someone says the Ruhrgebiet is ugly, he doesnt know what he's talking about, he was never there.
if you're ever in Paderborn just lemme know. would love to show you arround.
Come to eastern berlin. You will love it
