  1. Might try a pedal that tightens from behind with an Allen wrench. Put steel epoxy in hole and screw in pedal. Wait and hope for the best.

  2. You could take it to a shop and helicoil it but it looks like a square taper. It is a cheap replacement. It’s gotta come off either way, Park tools makes a crank puller for that, I think it’s the blue one. It will probably cost as much to helicoil it as it would to buy a new one.
