As we pulled up we came across but turned out to be a double murder and I knew that there was going to be no hope for Patrick living at all and that was probably within 10 seconds of being with [Applause] him I told him where where he lived

There was a knock on the window wasn’t there and I can’t what they do I told he just lives down there my mom bought the newspaper on a Thursday morning turned the page and found her son’s photograph and a headline that he’s been shot and she collapsed around 11:15 at night a police

Officer knocked on the door and he asked if I had a brother PC Patrick dun and I said yes and the moment he asked that question I thought my goodness what’s happened it really hit home when we heard heard Patrick’s name mentioned on the news BC Patrick Dunn had been called

To a minor disturbance at a house in Clapham in what police say was a tragic coincidence this was Patrick this was my brother he doesn’t get into situations like this Patrick always succeeded and suddenly to know that we would never see him again one can’t describe what that does to you inside

The other man was found dead nearby he too had been shot in what may have been a drugs related killing the media coverage of the whole incident was very negative and I just shut myself up I didn’t want to talk to anybody in fact the reason for kwami’s

Death is still a mystery so far as is known he was never involved in crime or serious drugs but somebody knows something 8 months after the murder somebody ran Crim Stoppers the message was if you want to find the killers you should go to wesworth cemetery and search when police arrived lipstick

Marked the spot two guns were wrapped in a plastic carrier bag they were forensically linked with Pat and quam’s deaths and other shootings too now 8 years on the investigation has been renewed and has a new lease of life I don’t know if relief is the word

We’re looking for two types of people witnesses that were Witnesses at the time that didn’t come forward for various reasons and that people that have become Witnesses since the actual murder specifically people that have had the crime relayed to them by the suspects clearly the people responsible

They wouldn’t have gone away and kept quiet about this U you’ve seen them on the video putting the guns in the air laughing and shouting they were pleased with what they did they would have bragged to people those people and now witnesses to the murder and we want

Murder was also riding on the last train she lived in ö which is by the coast which I suppose it is quite right place for students to live from the Metro it used to take her about 20 25 minutes into town itself shy Mo station just before midnight as Sara left another Metro

Traveling in the opposite direction towards Newcastle also stopped at Shore did you get off either train if so so please Call it’s quite far out from the city center and SAR used to often complain um the distance that she had to walk from her house to shy mu Metro station a local resident remembers Sara heading down Park Lane towards erden and distinctly recalls that a man passed him walking in the same direction

He then saw him cross the road and walk directly behind Sara he thinks the man was medium build and was wearing a dark fleece with lighter colored sleeves Sara turned right onto the erden road followed by the man who was now running then another witness just after

Midnight a driver sees a man running after what he assumes to be his girlfriend from somewhere there was a brief scream an investigation is underway after the discovery of a body under a hedge near when a woman walking her dog reported the incident it was lying under

A hedge in a as a fingertip search of the area around the murder scene Contin Sara’s naked body was found almost in sight of her front door her clothes had been taken away along with her handbag and the cork screw but some of her clothes were

Discovered about half a mile away in a small wood beside wellfield School unless her killer struggled across fields and ditches he must have known the local paths here to actually come to terms with something like this for someone so young and had everything gone for her to be just taken

Away she had a short life but she had a wonderful life I just miss I miss her smile Steve it’s just a tragic case um we saw in the film there that Sara took the last Metro um from Monument in Newcastle City Center then to shore so obviously

You want to talk to people who are on that train who might have been on that train with her yeah that’s right we do but we also more specifically want to speak to people who got off that train or who may have seen people get off the

Train uh we also need to speak to anybody who was in shyur between 11:00 and 12:00 and particularly anybody who may have seen somebody hanging around the area it’s important that to get in touch with us now some of her things are missing as we heard there her a jacket

Like this jacket here she was wearing yeah the jacket’s uh actually a gunmetal gray jacket but it has appearance of being black uh it’s a fabric jacket although it looks like leather uh that’s missing um although we’ve searched extensively in the AA we still haven’t recovered it now there’s this cork screw

Isn’t it this is the cork screw she was given as we saw in the film it’s pretty distinctive looks like a fish looking for that as well yeah is distinctive uh and people may recognize it and this perfume bottle too presuming what you’re after is people who may have been given

It or seen someone with it which seemed a bit odd that they would have such a thing yeah it it may be that somebody’s seen it in the area somebody may have picked it up uh innocently picked it up uh and really what I’m interested in is recovering the property equally somebody

May have been given given the property as a gift or sold the property uh anybody who knows anything about the property I want them to get in touch with us now what about the man who was seeing following her what do you know about him well he he was seen following

SAR up the road to ö he was actually last seen running behind her uh he’s a a man white man about uh in his 20s uh he’s medium height about 5′ 6 to 5′ 10 dark hair but most distinctively he’s wearing what two witnesses describe as a

Fleece type top that has Shades to it a light shade and a dark shade uh and maybe the arms are lighter than the body okay so anyone who might have this man may have come home he might have been covered in mud I know it was a rainy

Night or anyone who knows anything about him it might be their brother friend he came home late that night if anyone’s got any information about that now there’s another case that’s been in the paper today the case um of Pamela ladler who was found murdered about 20 miles

Whoever did it he’s probably in his late teens or in his 20s he was certainly out late last year in the Night Before Good Friday and he’d probably have come home pretty muddy he knows charmore Eren and wellfield and he’s fairly likely to have been to that Den before maybe as a
