We’re going to be getting those fired up here the next week or so um I’m just waiting on a few things I got to do a few things and I’m yeah I’m not going to go into detail but yeah anyway um we’ve had some stuff go on guys we’ve had another big

Flare uh and guess what this time it was from the bigger Sunspot right in front of us um it’s the one Sunspot that was hyperactive and it got really quiet as it became Earth facing um and I’ll show it to you guys here in just a second but it almost hit

X-class uh so we had an a long duration X class fler here we had an M we had two or three mclass flares long duration ones before the x-class now we’ve had one two three more well I’m just going to say this two more or one two three mclass flares

Right here I’m calling that an XF flare I mean I know it’s an M9 but I mean it’s well I guess you know maybe I should just call an M9 just call it what it is you know but it almost was an XF flare it I mean it was it’s significant it

Really is um and and what’s uh what’s more significant about it is its location and what it and what it produced after the flare because there is a CME involved with this and it is coming looks to be coming at us so we will be probably seeing uh geomagnetic storming from a

CME here in the next few days two to three days probably um but also guys you guys see this right here geomagnetic activity well before I talk about that proton flux radiation storm it’s subsiding okay um this is what we see um this really this is a long a long

Duration I don’t want to call it long it’s probably a pretty average duration so uh solar radiation storm uh we did get and we did stay at M2 uh S2 levels for quite some time and I talked about the radiation a lot yesterday so I’m not really going to talk about that right

Now I just want to point out how it’s falling off this is sometimes this is what happens and let me tell you why this is falling off so quick it’s because of this what’s going on here we’ve gotten hit with the c not because of this one

It’s the CME from one of these back here okay it’s a GL I’m not sure if it’s like a really good hit because we didn’t stand geomagnetic storming very long but what’s happened is we we’ve got that hit now at the same time and what’s going on

Is it it hits and then it flushes all these particles out the back okay so sometimes a CME or geomagnetic activity is good to get rid of a radiation storm um and that’s exact what you seen here I mean it really did ta off like quickly now typically if there is no CME

Hitting here this would probably have a little bit softer of a fall um you know does it mean anything no it just says hey this is what’s actually happening and we see it we observe it and that’s what we got um so you know that’s just what it is when did

It start Deb um well the radiation storm started back on uh about midday on the 9th and it’s still we’re still at a radiation storm level uh but you know an S1 doesn’t really mean a whole lot for us so that’s why I don’t really talk

About it a whole lot um but we did we are in geomagnetic storm levels now well not currently the geomagnetic storm from that glancing blow is probably already done with us it could and it could resurge and again we’ll dive into that also but you see how this

Is uh this is a three-hour plot okay These Bars represent 3 hours an average out of those three hours okay this is this is over here at Noah and this is the KP index the KP correlates with geomagnetic storm levels over here so a five on the KP is a

G1 lowest level storming right and it goes up incrementally just like a thunderstorm warning would a system you know thunderstorm watch thunderstorm warning then you then you can go into tornado watches tornado warnings tornado emergencies by the way if you hear that tornado emergency get underground they’re telling you it’s a huge storm

And it’s on the ground basically they’re telling you if you ain’t underground you ain’t making it if it hit you that’s that’s they don’t like they don’t even come out and do that unless they really think that that’s what’s going on but they did add that by the way oh and also

I I I speaking about weather like that um I think next year they’re going to start implementing and get this um we’ve been talking about this for a while I think I think Mark might have even touched on this but um hurricane level five yeah a category not five but a

Category six they’re going to add a six there um and it needs to be there because we’ve had stuff way over five so there need you know our weather’s getting more intense and they have to you know put that out there like that so we can accurately you know

Collect the data on it and have a better idea for what’s going to come in the future that’s why we do those things but it needed to be adjusted right which is exactly what I was talking about when I was talking about these uh space weather scales they’re going to

End up doing the same thing over here because our Geo our magnetic field is weakening so just that fact you know itself will tell you that they’re going to eventually if it keep keeps getting weak which it it should Trend that way cuz you know we are in the midst of a

Whether you guys want to talk about a magnetic Excursion or a magnetic pole flip those kinds of things and I don’t know when that’s going to happen it could happen very very slowly and a lot of times if you go back and look at the data historically or what we think we

Have data on um it does happen fairly slow so um you know but then other times you look at other stuff and it looks like it happens with just like the snap of your finger you know what I mean so who knows none of us have been here

For that so it’s all theoretical observations that can be very highly educated and very accurate it’s just we don’t know 100% on that and that’s why I don’t say that right um I have my opinions on it have my opinions on it do I think we’re going to get one yes I

Absolutely do think it’s going to flip um do I know what’s going to happen after that that no I don’t um I I’m still watching everybody else talk about it and I you know I don’t know where I land on that yet but so and that’s an okay position

To take just be honest you know what I mean hey I don’t know where I land on this yet I’m still listening to everybody please don’t tell me to go listen to this person and that person because they’re this that and the other don’t tell me who I can’t and can’t

Watch you know what I mean this why I never do that to you guys why would I it it’s crazy when I hear people say stuff like that um but anyway so they’re only showing a four here right a four plus which is about a four

And a half means it’s over four so according to Noah in this this particular plot point we never got into geomagnetic activity but or geomagnetic storming if you go over here to the German site they had the HP and this is why I look at this okay this is a fifth

15 minutes every 15 minutes well 30 minutes I’m sorry every 30 minutes it gives you a a plot point of the basically it’s the KP but they call it the HP all right see where it got it got close well about a five and a half it

Was on its way to six which would have been a G2 storm so we stayed at a G1 level at least through a half hour close to an hour all right so we weren’t there very long and does this mean a whole lot no it mean it doesn’t really mean a whole

Lot but what it does is it allows us to look at this in more real time so if we’re seeing things we’re trying to pinpoint things down and trying to figure out why we seen a geomagnetic storm like say we had a stealth CM me that we didn’t know it was coming right

And we get hit well you may it may not even show over here and if you go look here it might be there that’s the difference okay because sometimes stealth CM or they hit real quick and they leave as fast as they get here um

It’s just a CME we didn’t see coming um but we’re getting better at detecting those to but that’s the reason I show you both now again officially they’re going to tell you no we didn’t get into geomagnetic storms unless it goes back up so with that being said Noah’s

Forecasting on the 12th another G1 into the 13th that’s from another CME not the one I’m getting ready to show you okay we had an with this we’re going to get hit with two more CMEs at least so far from what I can see let me uh I’m G

See if this tracker is updated yet yeah it did look at this okay watch this okay that’s a second CME me that’s going to hit us directly this is from the this flare I’m getting ready to show you so that’s top down version side cut here and then this

Is our orbital line stretched out in the straight line that’s what you’re seeing there okay um so it lets us understand what direction it’s going so we look at the top down so we can get East West orientation we know if it’s going to go

To our left or go to our right right by this model anyway side cut gives us north south right and then you got a third axis here to really give you a really good idea of what’s going on so when you see a hitting on all three this model is

Telling you hey we’re going to get hit now this is a NASA’s model this is NASA’s version of it now I will say the other CME was doing the exact same thing not the one that’s hitting now but the one that’s coming here in the next day

Or two and it ain’t this one it’s in between these okay know that um but it’s doing it’s showing the same sense of direction it’s not as powerful didn’t look to be as powerful wasn’t as big but it it is and I think I I think I found

Where the CM where that CME came from and again I’ll show it to you but this is the bigger one from the almost x-class flare here the M9 flare and this is a CME that that is uh with that it was produced at the time of the flare so

Like I said guys we are in well we were in a geomagnetic storm and this is what do I say all the time about the bz right this red line look where we were at right at neutral and all of a sudden bam we get hit with everything starts

Moving right well sometimes when that happens we move to the positive here negative six is the number we use as a just a kind of Ru of thumb threshold to say hey when we get hit with stuff from space our magnetic field is in a magnetic position to draw it in on the

Pulse okay it’s just getting drawn into our system more and it has everything to do with magnetics okay so this one went South so it means we were accepting things that were going to hit in other words we were drawing it in Earth Earth’s magnetic field was letting it

Come in um but if this had went North it would have done the opposite it would have had kind of a deflecting uh characteristic with it okay so just remember negative -6 on the bz we very seldom get into storm level without that at least being there okay now I will say

This too the F angle flipped that and actually flipped back it moved a couple times what’s the FI angle the solar wind the constant solar wind we see that’s always hitting us it has a polarity all right because that solar wind is plasma plasma is charged gas so it has a

Negative and a positive charge right so that means it has a negative and positive polarity here so whatever particles are coming out at that time the solar wind itself can change polarity and when it does it shows you here on it’s called the F angle okay and

Again I could go into more detail but I’m not going to but so let me just show I should have showed you guys this already meant to show you this first so you knew what I was talking about I’m sorry um but this is Earth this is the

Satellite we’re going to be looking from that’s Soho satellite million miles closer to the Earth it’s from our perspective is it it’s as if you went outside and looked up okay so if you scroll down here over on seed you can see these eruptions they always light up in these different

Colors and if you look here it’ll tell you what each color means and what how it’s being plotted here width greater than 120° another words how wide it is they’ll put it in red and then if it’s between 60 and 120° they’ll put it in this orangish color um and then

Obviously less than 60° it’ll just be the regular black color there okay um but so let’s go up here and look this is the 10th right here notice all the action okay now you seen us there’s the big one yesterday right the one that’s not even really going to hit us this one

Fired well I already talked about that yesterday so I’m not going to talk about it again and waste your time but that was a huge eruption guys I’m telling you if that thing would have been coming our way we’d be having some different discussions there are tons of different

Discussions okay because it would have been a little yeah I’m just going to leave it at that I’m just not even going to go there anyway um so if we go forward here we start seeing more there’s another one okay that happened at 712 on the

10th so let me slow this down and we’ll just play it about that okay so that was a significant one too that’s the one that produced the CMU also that’s going to be coming at us it’s not as powerful as as this as the one that just happened a few hours

Ago now that’s a slow mover right there I don’t I didn’t really see where that one came from and it’s not that big so I’m not really too concerned about that one it looks to be going more south let me pause that for a minute I want to

Back it up and show you guys something here as the end of the day quit right here you see this 10:23 it rolls over to the next day so I have to go the next day to show this to you do you guys see this right

Here if you see that you need to stop and look and go to the next day and look because that is the start of a CME when you start seeing those things poke out around the ulter disc and again that’s a black disc on the a culter it’s always

The 11th let’s see what kind of data we got nothing we get no data over here on seeds unless I’m going to show you guys this you can scroll down here and look at this you see this that’s the end of the day on the 10th well if we click where it says

Images it will actually go into the next day for you so let me show you okay see how see how we got a little bit more extra data there we’ll back it up you see that so what I’m saying is yes this one’s coming at us and and it is and and

The NASA model confirmed it the one I already showed you guys guys so what I’ll do now is show you this I’m going to be showing you a satellite called sdo it’s in what we call GEOS synchronistic orbit and this is how it orbits okay it stays over this does this figure8

Pattern over the same part of our planet and it rotates with us at 15 degrees an hour right but it always turns to keep its eye on the Sun so no matter where this is at it will rotate to keep an eye on the the sun much like the Lord of the

Rings big eye right if anybody’s ever seen the Lord of the Rings you got the big eyeball up there right that’s what this is doing but every once in a while the Sun the Earth will pass between the Sun and the satellite and it’ll give it it’ll it’ll create an eclipse it’s not

Like eclipse in the moon or anything like that it’s nothing that big but it will look that way on the Imaging so if you ever see that which is we’re actually in Eclipse season now part of it anyway for sdo so it is happening from time to time um and again it’ll

Quit doing it for a few months and then it’ll do it again there’s typically like I think there’s two Eclipse seasons for this satellite but because of the way it orbits that’s why we get this Eclipse phenomenon but they did this because this is a good place to have a satellite

It it gets images back to us really really quick so we get really close to as close as we can to real time all right the farther out guys the longer it takes to get the data back so we can even look at it that’s why some of these satellites will have a

Three-day time you know time lapse we have to wait three days to get the data right so anyway this this is where the satellite is is at it’s this satellite right here it’s the extreme ultraviolet on sdo so let me um I’m going to zoom in

And I’ve been doing this for you guys because I think you guys really get a good chance to see this when I use iswa instead of using uh the sdo site this site here if like if I was to uh right here if I was to go here this

Is the same thing the aiah HMI browse data all I got to do is put in a date okay so if we go to the 10th there’s your angstrom and you hit submit right but then we got to wait and I I don’t want to have like 10

Of those open at once that’s why I don’t use it okay um it’s loading here and also the the actual resolution that we get to see on sdo is lower okay um that’s also another reason I don’t like to show it to you because we get better definition a better picture okay but

Anyway here’s the 94 it’s the same satellite I said all that like a squirrel and uh just to say that I mean yeah anyway so this the 94 angstrom we cannot see this with our eyeballs that’s why they Ed the equipment this does not have an ulter disc because it doesn’t need it

All right we’re looking at specific gas here that’s what and they could have gave it any color but we’re I can’t remember what gas we’re looking at at the 94 angstrom but only certain gases show up in this angstrom okay that’s why we do this so back here there here’s your xlayer

Okay that’s the one I showed you guys earlier now notice how this big Sunspot here is active that’s the one that got really really hyperactive when it was over here and as it got close to Earth facing like right in front of us it started experiencing that um Earth facing quiet

Okay that I talked about this yesterday in other words a lot of times when they come through the Earth Strike Zone here they’ll quiet down it’s a phenomenon and I I I think there’s some pretty good theories on why that happens but they’re not for certain yet so anyway a lot of

People aren’t for certain on it let me uh just go forward here and you can see how active it is now that was the big one over here that I showed you yesterday it’s not even going to really affect us if this a lot of people ask me

Well why did this one affect us and not this one well because of that spiral motion I was telling you about okay um let me just show that to you okay so if we had a CME you see these lines right here these are interplanetary magnetic uh connection

Lines magnetic field lines okay we’re connected to the Sun but because of all the Motions that’s going on this is how we spiral out when we connect to something typically it is in this Arc pattern so when we’re connected to the sun we’re not really connected right in in the

Front Okay we have a magnetic connection line that kind of Loops out now it moves right it’ll move it don’t stand the same place so when we get something that fires off this direction the protons will actually attach themselves onto that line and it’ll Loop it back around

To us even though the CME itself is actually going out this way the protons will latch onto this sometimes and it gets sucked in magnetically that why we get a radiation storm when stuff happens on this side when it happens on this side the same thing applies but you have to look at

The direction of the curve then it’s actually curving the other way we’re not connected to the sun over here with that interplanetary magnetic field line our connection’s over here so anything fired off over here it actually has to Fan out and we have to actually be hit with the

CME the CME didn’t hit and caus that that radiation storm the C went out this way but some of the protons went across our F magnetic uh field line and it rode that line all the way back over to us we’ve had things fire off the backside

And give Earth a magnetic uh radiation storm because of this phenomenon all right that’s how that works hopefully I explain that well if I did I hope I did let me know if I didn’t uh I could try to explain it better next time um but that’s why we get those when

It fires off on that side that’s why we watch them a lot closer that’s the only reason really um so anyway let’s go back over here there’s a big one and then you see this right here in the middle this is that bigger Sunspot see how it starts

Acting up now that’s when that first little one popped off after this one I showed you guys yesterday okay and then boom there’s your m M9 flare right here in the middle I know it doesn’t look very impressive does it well the reason why it doesn’t

Look as impressive as it does over here and when these things fired over here is because the sun is the backdrop it’s camouflaging it for all you know for all essential purposes here if this if if that was the fire off over here this thing would have been just as bright as

These other ones okay but the way the imager sees it when it’s right in front of us this kind of wases things out when the sun is the background it makes it kind of hard for us to tell when things are popping off sometimes that’s why we

Look at different angstrom so we can see what the corona is doing we can see exactly what these other gases are doing the 304 is really good for looking at magnetic filaments which is basically connection lines that Plasma’s traveling on they will lay on the surface of the

Sun and they’ll pop off on their own they don’t need a flare or a CME or some sort of eruption they can just destabilize and lift off and explode out and we get some of our biggest CMEs from that so yeah so so you guys can see that now I

Know the the 94 isn’t a really good one to show you this one but I’m showing you this because look what happens after even all that activity it’s still firing around everywhere guys so what I’m saying is we can’t just not you can’t just stop looking we have

To continue to watch this and that’s my point with that so let me go to the 304 this is a 304 and this is uh ionized helium that’s the gas you’re looking at so when you see the dark the dark lines here those are those filament lines I was saying talking about

Okay so you got these kind of laying across here here is that bigger Sunspot right in the middle um where are we okay so watch right here we’ll just run it through here a minute okay that was the that was the eruption right here okay you see how it lit everything

Up now watch what happens after that that happens you can see it Ripple out through the Corona and then you see this you see that reaching up right there that dark shadow that’s plasma it’s shooting off of the sun again if that would have been on the

Side that would have looked like a big jet fly you know falling off the side there of the Sun so it definitely is yeah it’s doing it so now let’s take a look at the the 211 here this one here is going to show you really well what the corona is doing

The atmosphere of the sun um and the reason why is again it’s looking at a specific gas but let me zoom in a little bit more for you here because I want you guys to see its Ripple um I I’ve talked about the Ripple through the Corona for

A very long time and um with that being said watch right here it’s you’ll see it it’s not even hard to hard to find okay right there now I want to show you something that’s the bigger one right that’s the one that just happened from the M9 flare see how that just exploded

Out and you’ve seen it the majority of it seemed to go you know kind of Equatorial North but I do think that there is a uh Southern component of this that could hit us all right um and the reason why if you look down here you can

Kind of see it it kind of does one of those numbers and because it is going off to the uh what would be the West it’s reversed when we’re talking about the sun guys you got to pretend you’re standing on the surface of the Sun so East West is reversed when we’re talking

About Direction on the sun looking at this satellite so but what I want to point out here is you know so it can grab those lines over here right that interplanetary magnetic field lines when I was just talk you know telling you the protons grab a hold of now I’m gonna

Back this up because is I’m going to show you where that other one came from it came from down here watch this see that hole open up that was from an eruption okay that was another CME that’s the one that they that they were showing on uh the NASA model before

The one I just showed you I can’t show you the one previous because it’s not there anymore um I think there’s a way to get the historic data on that I just don’t um have the website to do that okay and then that this right here that’s your Eclipse I was just talking

About too okay so and what’s funny is every once in a while we’ll catch this and it will uh look as though it like just stopped in the middle went in Reverse watch here I’ll show it to you okay let me back that up okay so I’m going forward now okay going

To you know in time we’re going forward in time here watch it covers up right there you see how it’s doing that and then it backed off and went the other direction to most people how do I know went the other direction because the shadow follows back down to the

Right see how it’s kind of dark down through here right here barely and then it gets bright again that means that it’s not being eclipsed any anymore why did it do that right you guys sit there thinking well how the heck can something stop right there in this reverse Direction

Well um what did I do with that sdo I think I exed out of that like a like a I don’t know what I was there sorry like an idiot I guess we’ll just use that how about that so let me go back over here to where I showed you

Where the satellite was at we get that reverse when it we see that Eclipse we get that reverse because of this figure8 pattern the satellite’s still moving okay in this figure eight pattern so every once in a while you’ll see it actually catch just the edge of it and it’ll catch it

So close to the edge that it looks as though it reverses right in the middle um I used to think it was crazy I I didn’t know what it was you know until I really dove into what I was looking at and now I understand it and that’s why

Why you know it’s it’s important to understand those things and guess what it’s important to be open to that it really is it’s important to be open to everything and then make up your own mind because I’m not going to sit here and tell you what to believe on that you

Believe what you want but I’m showing you what I what I see and I’m showing you the data and that that’s why I do it like this you guys are smart I don’t have to tell you how to think it’s not even yeah not even like that

You know I ain’t had any issue with that I’m just saying it that it bothers me when people tell other people how to think that really just irritates me to death um you know who gave them that kind of authority I don’t know come to my house

Weather hits our magnetic field that’s the first point of contact okay and its job is to protect us and you will see it compress and then a lot of times it like when we take a big hit it will compress way in and then we’ll get what we call

Rapid expansion Earth will eventually win our magnetic field will eventually win that battle again and it’ll push it way out and when it does our magnetic field actually overextends it’ll go off this chart it’ll push out so far um that happens it’s called compression and Rapid expansion it’s just what

Happens remember the sun’s to the left now this is the density um and this this is where you can kind of tell where we I I don’t think we have enough data here for me to show you where that where we actually got flushed out with that

Radiation but you can see this how things are going to White now you see it back here in our magnet our magnetosphere how it was still kind of dark blue for a while there that’s during that radiation storm and when we got hit with this this CME it actually flushed some of those

Particles out see how it’s still kind of dark here see this and now see how it kind of slowly moved back to White it’s pushing those protons out and that’s what’s happening now we’re lower here now it pushed out a lot of that radiation so that that’s kind of what

Yeah see how it’s not bouncing around too much right now but once we start getting hit it’s like a tuning fork the starts resonating and just bouncing all over the place it’s going to here in a minute this is your satellite line okay so when this bow shock gets pushed into

This satellite line it can actually open up all the satellites to direct space weather our magnetic field ain’t protecting it at that point if our bow shock is back here still protecting us but the satellites are out in front of it that means for a short period of time

Those satellites will be you know inir shot of any space weather that’s coming at it okay and if and if our bow shock is compressed back here I can guarantee you that this is getting taking shots okay um and that’s why you’ll see the satellites go into safe mode sometimes

They do it on their own sometimes they’ll do it you know from the control centers here but they’ll shut them down into safe mode for a period of time just in case right it’s kind you you can think about it like this like an EMP right um we’ve all heard of like like

EMP Shield you know you get one for your car for your house if there’s an EMP and you got that that equipment an EMP Shield it will stop it from frying or destroying all your electronics from an EMP right um it’s kind of the same thing so when we’re we’re exposed to all

That all at once you know um it can really damage the satellites so instead of taking that chance of that damage they they choose to put them into safe mode they shut down certain parts of it because if the electronics are active during that it can destroy them if they’ve got

Um we could get a what we call a secondary hit in between those two CMEs it’s a shock wave that builds up in between um and that’s what happens it’s like a snow plow effect and I’ve talked about that a lot also but let me go

Here and and I’ll show you both the CMEs that are going to hit for sure I think right watch down here one will happen see that right there how that opened up that was a CME and then from this bigger Sunspot here right there see that okay um it it really wasn’t all

Things are moving man I mean it it they’re not moving at break next speed but they’re not moving slow either so they see seem to be pretty dense too cuz the if you look at the velocity and speed down here they’re they’re that’s really normal range Speed 3 to 500

Northern hemisphere what do you got you got the reverse also let me say this you see how close in Latitude these things are they’re really close to equatorial regions that means we are progressing very very far into the sun cycle we’re getting ready to be at solar

Max okay so when these things that you know I I if I was to show you this well let’s just do this let me go back let’s go back I don’t know what what do you think that’s 2023 2022 let’s go back to 2022 same day everything and’s see what we get

It that and the reason why is because that was two years ago you’re not going to see as many sunspots because the sun isn’t as active back then okay so if we come back to 2023 see how they migrated down a little bit I mean it’s it’s very evident it

Really is if you guys go back and look at this it’s amazing how how that this happens um and it and it’s very very very explainable okay and I’m not going to go into the full explanation but the equatorial region of the sun because the sun is not a rock the equatorial regions

Of the sun they will rotate faster than the pole areas okay that’s what’s happening it stretches out the magnetic lines when a sun cycle restarts and the pole flip happens on the sun everything goes to Vertical again positive negative or negative positive whatever the lines are up and

Down right but because of the equatorial region of the sun rotating like faster than the poles those lines start doing this curving right at the equator like this okay and then eventually they’re doing this okay that’s why everything gets pulled towards the middle and then what happens when they touch guess what

That’s the termination event and the pole slip that’s your sun cycle very very quick the explanation there’s a lot more to it guys but that’s a quick explanation of what we see um you can clearly see that these sunspots some of them are actually on the equator here it looks

Like um it’s just really yeah things are progressing so that means the sun’s going to become more and more active and it’ll probably stay like that for about a year um remember guys with all this stuff just like in your real life we’re never standing still we’re either moving towards solar
