My plan when getting this bike was always to strip it. I even reached out to state to see if I could buy the decal pack that comes on the 4130 allroad, that they sell with a raw steel “paint” option (which they couldn’t help with since the bikes are assembled off site). After having it a few months in the blue I decided to make it happen.
Before anyone says it, I know it’ll get surface rust but in my eyes it’s a tool I plan to abuse. And frankly I’d rather have a little surface rust that I can scrub off with brass wool in place of all the paint imperfections it was getting from loading it in and out of my truck
