Was on a ride earlier this week and had the chain drop off the front when switching into little ring up front.
Chain was skipping all the way home and I assumed the indexing was out due to it having been recently serviced with new cables and chain as they had bedded in.
Upon closer inspection Ive noticed a twist in the chain.
Can this be fixed with just new links or does it need a whole new chain?

Since it’s an inner link, if you remove it, you effectively shorten your chain by four links. At that point, you’d be best to replace it. You can try to straighten it out with a couple of screwdrivers but due to the bending of the metal, it just becomes a weak link (pun intended).
The inners near the bottom of your picture are damaged too, this chain needs to be replaced.
As Xafilah mentioned you have multiple damaged links. If you just got the bike service take it back to the shop they clearly didn’t adjust the front derailleur properly they should provide you with a new chain and readjust your derailleur again.
More than one twisted link. Replace the chain. And ease up just a little when changing gears, especially when using the front derailleur.
Idk man. December is a while back and if you haven’t noticed anything until now I don’t think that’s the shops fault. Hate to be that guy, but I’d call that user error. Especially if you tend to shift under load from time to time. That chain needs replacement.
Definitely get a new chain and try not to shift while putting a lot of pressure on the pedals
