I find the comments here very "interesting". If he were overweight, the comments here would look different, urging him to buy two seats (legitimately). But apparently it's only hated to make other people's seats smaller if you're overweight.
And to all the "nice" comments here: I guarantee you, no matter how funny you find it here, if the person sitting next to you on the plane got so close to you, you wouldn't be so chill with it as you are pretending to be in the comments here.

Rude. He should have known to reserve his seat early, book first class, or emergency window seat, aisle seat. This kind of thing makes me angry. But in the moment, I would have given him the aisle seat and told him to lean the other way and make him move for my numerous bathroom visits.
