Howdy! Trying to snag a new cheap road bike for commuting in my city, cross training for running, and ideally starting to get into some longer endurance riding! I’m considering these two bikes on FB marketplace to replace an old touring bike that’s way to small for me. Both are about the same price ($250-300). Help me decide!

They’re both aluminum, the Trek is a little newer. Can’t make out the components from the low resolution photo, and it is late and I’m not going to go look up specs. They’re about the same size too. I’m going to assume you’re female, from the models of bikes and the size. Buy the one you think is prettier. If you’re excited to go ride your bike, that’s a plus.
