  1. Raceface Ride Narrow Wide Crankset
    Raceface X-type team bottom bracket

These were used just fine together prior to reinstallation

  2. Absolutely not.

Is your new BB shell more narrow than the one from which theses parts came? Looks that way to me.

Something is not right, if I remember correctly BB combos and crank combos and frame combos can be pretty tricky to figure out. Also i remember a wavy washer on both sides that’s acts as a buffer for slightly different combos.

  4. There should be a preload collar on the non-drive side. Hard to tell in the video, but it looks like yours might be missing.

  5. Looks like you’ve forgotten to install the spacers and not gone to full torque?

These have a square taper which i think calls for 40Nm

And I think there’s supposed be three spacers?
Would have to check but there’s meant to be a wave washer, normal flat washer and then a couple of gasket ones with a steel washer built in.

  6. After inspecting further the crank is not fully pressed in to the splines, there were no spacer prior to the install, and there was no play before.

  7. I don’t know about that particular setup, but on shimanos there’s a ‘safety tab’ on the non-drive side that is held on by the pinch bolts and locates in a hole in the splines to make sure the crank is pushed on far enough.
