Any ideas on how to remove a stuck cap? I have the tool for it but I cannot get it to budge. I’m really hoping this isn’t a case of just more torque needed because I’m giving it my all 🤣
It’s plastic right? If so It could not become seized, and should at least turn if cross threaded. If it’s alloy some PB blaster wouldn’t hurt. Make sure pinch bolts are loose.

Have you undone the crank bolts? Without doing that it gets squashed tight and is really hard to get out – undo them and it should be easy.

As the others have said make sure the pinch bolts are undone. I’ve done this a few times and been like wtf come undone then I’ve realised I haven’t undone the pinch bolts and it comes straight out.

I just got it off I had the pinch bolts off but I hadn’t removed the little plate on the inside once I removed that it came out easy. Thank you everyone!
