Across West Yorkshire H full disclosure I didn’t see the game yesterday but my man Jason here did obviously I’ve watched the highlights and read loads about it and you know I feel almost like I’ve seen that type of game before um but let’s let’s get to it um Jason just

Before we kind of break it down into into detail your general thoughts on what is another really convincing victory for late yeah um I certainly feel like we’ve seen the game before um it felt very much like several of of the comfortable um wins we’ve had certainly

At home and where we got in front quite early on but then couldn’t kill the game off for a period of time we had two three four chances which should have really killed the game way before we did um we then eventually did get the the goals and saw out a comfortable a

Comfortable Victory I mean for me this is what more 90 minutes worth of game should look like um three Nils four Nils 4-1 you know these kind of score lines where we’re not having to worry about whether we are going to get over the line you know with a one- nil win later

On anything can happen I mean you know they they didn’t have much yesterday but there were were a couple of moments when it was one nil where they you know had crosses and Corners you know they were playing for for fouls and free kicks all game all game they were playing for it

They they put it into the corners a Winger Chase it down they’d feel a touch and they’d fall over they they they were cheating it was as good as cheating and the referee were buying it I mean the referee had an absolute stinker of a game yesterday like a stin and he’s a

Premier league referee by the way what was it was it just kind of Notting both both teams yeah I mean you know that the diving was a real problem he wasn’t giving them all but he was giving some of them which kind of exasperated the issue because it was clear that he was

Seeing that some of them were soft and then saying no G play on and leads a win win possession but then sometimes he was giving him and they were the exact same and there was a tackle on rhon which arguably could have been a red card by

Hugle I don’t know if you’ve seen that it were really nasty really really nasty we only halfway through the first half really on his if rhodon had have had his ankle planted it’ have been a broken ankle it would really really bad um the the the foul on willly nto for have you

Seen that one yeah yeah that I mean you’ll never see a clear a foul and he gave a goal kick I mean he scissored him it was an an awful tackle um yeah it was just like that all game all all game just wrong decisions throwings wrong

Wave Corners wrong way goal kicks wrong way like it just it was just a really really poor performance by the ref but rotheram were awful they were really bad I mean they take the mantle for me have been the worst team that we’ve seen Ellen Road this season they had

Moments up until one nil um long ball they w a corner after 20 seconds but it felt more because leads had not really come and woke up and farer said as much in his postmatch presser basically said that we weren’t happy with the first 10 minutes after that we completely

Controlled the game truthfully mate yeah no absolutely let’s start with the the the lineup then it went back to that familiar starting 11 that we’re getting used to H some talk beforehand would Archy start obviously Connor Roberts being available for selection but Arch has kept his place and played really

Well um banford coming back in um nonto keeping his place on the on the wing Dan James still out just a very settled team isn’t it Jason yeah yeah I mean I would disappointed not to see Dan fit and available cuz I just think he’s so important he’s very key for us between

Now and the end of the season but ultimately nonto has taken his chance and I thought he was good again yesterday without scoring or assisting I thought he played really well he could have had a couple and he was dangerous you know he was committing players he

Was linking up well with Somerville and Gio and Pat um Archie played excellent I mean there were an arguments say were man of the match he wasn’t my man of the match yesterday but he was it was very good um level of opposition minimal though I will say to that he’ll he’ll

Have hard tests but you can only play what’s in front of you for me it’s going one way with Archie in that I mean Conor got Conor Roberts got 20 minutes yesterday and I I you know Archie was then brought into the Midfield I I feel almost certain that that is the route

That um Daniel far is going to go down is that he will actually be the starting center midfielder and it’ll be for Kamar to win that spot back which is Harsh because I think Kamar has been great and but I think it’ll end up being Arie

And and guev in there and because to give Roberts the minutes it’ have been very easily to just take Arie gray off and bring Conor Roberts on but he didn’t he put Arie into the Midfield um I think he ended up rotating out gr vanar event

I think they both ended up coming off and Archie was the one that was saying on the pitch and he didn’t start the game H midweek against pmer so he didn’t have the0 minutes to play that gruev did so that you know makes sense that guv would have been saved hopefully for for

Tuesday but it it for me again it just signals that Conor Roberts is going to come in he will end up starting games and AR I’ll take the position in Midfield but yeah apart from that mate everything else feels very settled aadu and rhodon look so good together um

Which again feels a bit har on harsh on Pascal because we’ve all said you know’s he’s come back this season and being brilliant but for me I think he’s behind aadu in that back line I I thought aadu was a six an out and out six and everything that we’d seen from him

Earlier on in the season kind of suggest Ed that was right he played against Shrewsbury in the cup at Center back alongside Creswell and he didn’t look great if you remember um but then in this run since stk’s been injured he arguably looks better at Center back

Because of what he can do building up play as well I mean I said it right from from his first game it gives us that extra outlet and to be able to break down this low block I mean he played a pass yesterday and with his left foot

Pinged it to vanford on an absolute uh dime unfortunately Pat’s first touch weren’t great and you know but it was an out andout goal scoring CH similar to The Long ball over the top to rter earlier on this season that we scored from so yeah I just think he has more to his

Game when we’re in possession than Pascal does which makes sense because in do you think with ampadu replacing strike in that roow because obviously strike kind of the main not the main feature of his game but is that ball progression you know his ball progression this season has been really

Really good and he’s got a good pass on him and and you know he’s a tall player but with ampadu it feels like you’re getting all that and more really you’re getting a bit more you because I I I mean let’s be honest stri was not good

Defensively last year and and there are times when he’s a bit jittery whereas I think aadu just is RO Rock Solid isn’t he I mean it’s you know I don’t think we’re losing anything are we by not having pass in that row when you’ve got Edo there I would argue

That Pascal’s probably better in the air like against Jordan hugle yesterday aadu was coming off second best to quite a lot of the the headers of a Target man which makes sense he’s like 510 511 as aadu he’s all right in the air but he’s not a dominating kind of presence Center

Back that Pascal or Jo rhon is um but that aside I would say aadu does everything else just as well but I think he’s better in possession which like I say makes there no SL on Pascal Ando a midfielder I think if we were to go up

To the to the Premier League I think Pascal has the the ceiling as a center back to be better than AA do but for what we need right now he arguably gives us more because we’ve got so much possession he suits that back three that we create when grve drops in better than

Strike does yeah so for for me I I would honestly leave it I mean cres Hall got some minutes yesterday which was nice to see he got brought on clearly that with’ you know there’s been a bridge built and he wants to try and integrate him back into the

Systemwell you got about I would say probably 10 minutes five five minutes of the of the the 90 and then over added time weren’t long but it was long enough to say that you know you’re back in I trust you you’re playing minutes again um but I would I would say that when

Pascal’s fate them minutes are going to be taken by Pascal so Creswell will probably end up dropping back out the squad all together because they’re not going to need two center backs on the bench and then what do you do with Cooper so like I mean you know we were

Talking before going live about Squad depth I mean we are honestly we’ve got so much within this squad and we’ve let a lot of Fringe players go as well it really shows you mark thanks for your comment agree with you Jason that’s the best Central defense uh

Please guys if you not like the video already please make sure you’re doing that skip don’t think Kamar has done anything wrong he’s been Rock in the middle and goes under appreciated by some fans because he’s not a fair player a flare player but he’s integral to the

Team and this was I was goingon to bring this up actually I agree with this before you say what you you’re going to say there BR I 100% agree with this I think for for most fans he’s a kind of a player that kind of goes under the radar

Um he won’t be properly appreciated for everything that he does bring his work rate is incessant he’s constantly covering ground and his little side steps and shimy works and Open Spaces he’s a beautiful player to watch the problem that you’re gonna have is is that somebody has to drop out and it’s

For me it can’t be Kamar angry like it they’re too similar they play too much of a similar role so then it’s Kamar or gry and and I’d argue that farer prefers gray and I think that’s the route we will go down I’m not sure because if you’re saying Kamar over

Gray then you would have the same argument that gray doesn’t deserve dropping either so I don’t know I I I think it’s a real tough one mate well this is actually what I was going to kind of raise then as well because just when you were talking about gray before

And you know we did a show midweek the league United debate guys if you not check that out as well that was basically looking at Archer gray how he compares to other great Academy products and he has got such a key role it feels already doesn’t it you know he’s not a

Fringe player he’s not even a sub like you say Fara seems to want him on that pitch as much as possible and and then it becomes where you’ve got this guy in on loan who’s a seasoned you know right back in this league has done very well

At this this level but you know I I agree with skip as well I just think Kamar has just been he hasn’t done anything wrong you know I and he’s a bit older as well but then you can’t drop gray but I agree you can’t have gray and

Kamar really together in that Midfield I mean it’s kind of fascinating but I guess when you’ve got a crunch of games it’s nice the fact that you can you know rest Archer uh the game in the cup bring him on and then you know give other players minutes as well and share it

Around a bit um it does feel like the squad is kind of reaching this point where it’s kind of perfectly meshed doesn’t it you know if you can bring you know Arch into Midfield get Roberts up right back switch [ __ ] around you know it’s what a what a brilliant position

That is to be in it’s a lovely problem to have and and the only person that needs to decide what we do with it is Daniel farker at the end of the day and I think AR has looked better and better I think every opportunity he’s got to

Play in the Midfield he looks more confident it looks more mature he looks ready to take the opportunity again it almost felt like he was kind of on trial yesterday in Midfield when he got that 20 minutes it was like okay this is my minutes 10 I’ll show that I can perform

In this position and start weeking we out in this position you know Skip being like almost like defending the situation I’m not arguing with you there that you know but someone does have to drop out because Connor Roberts is a specialist right back he’s a championship winning

Right back last season only a few months ago player of the season in the championship at right back last season he can improve our team over Arie gr right now and and that’s hard to say because AR has done such a great job but he can like he he’s he’s going to

Improve what we do I mean we saw yesterday what he can give us um he’s up and down that Wing he’s he’s defensively better than than AR and he’s quicker than Arch like for me it gives us that kind of proper balance that we’ve needed from fullbacks all season um so I do

Think that that Archie needs to now go back into Midfield and be as a backup to Connor on that right side if if when Conor Robertson need arrest or he’s injured suspended whatever he can then play there but actually takes up the role in Midfield and you only have a c

You can only fit a certain amount of them you like so I mean we we’re starting to see different things now as well we’ve seen over the last two games the Plymouth game and yesterday we’ve seen Gio play out wide for a little bit of the game so

Piro came on yesterday and Gio went out to the left so we we got to see Ru take up a different role in the team so that then brings up another question could we potentially see Archie Kamar and grev you could maybe play one of them in the

10 I don’t think any of them particularly suit it but it could potentially be an option like we’ve got different things that we could do we could maybe play all three of them and play without a 10 you know in a game where we need a little bit more

Dominance in Midfield so there’s there’s different things that can can now come from this it’s clear I I think it’s clear that we’ve seen Gio playing different roles over the last couple of games to see what he can bring I mean I know we’ve not got any individual performances yesterday but he was

Sensational yesterday he was just again on a different level and he’s starting to do different things that 10 should do now where they weren’t necessarily doing it before he started driving into little pockets of space and committing players and you know because he’s got that kind of lanky gangly figure where he just

Seems to always get to everything the assist yesterday for the Somerville goal as an example kind of overruns the ball but then manages to touch it into Somerville to take him in a goal I he sensation stepping away from the defender it’s like he’s just I mean yeah

I mean spoiler so far for me he’s the player of the season is Gio because I think although I understand how the team is working and players have had vital impact that we couldn’t miss there just for me he’s got that Stardust as well his personality infused with the type of

Player he is he just phenomenal uh Mark is this team better than the promotion winning team what do you think and the relegated team for me yes on both counts certainly I think this is a far far more talented team than the one that got promoted under beela um that team was

Full of character it had really strong character strong leaders and and the way it was trained by Bea was incredible it was a machine the relegated team last year was horrific um absolutely horrific it was for me one of the worst leads teams I’ve ever witnessed um absolutely

Useless I think like we’ve said on previous um um videos I agree with J I think if this team if you drop them in the Premier League right now hopefully would be you know 15 something like that maybe even a little bit higher um so

Yeah I it’s exciting I think you know if if we didn’t have this Southampton and Leicester team as well and obviously switch would be an incredible I think would’ be it’ be a cakewalk with be Miles Ahead already I mean th this this team has now achieved more points than b

El’s Championship winning team did at the same stage um I think it goes with I mean I’m going to stoke a fire in a minute with with something I’m gonna say um but without a doubt this team’s better over the over the 11 over the squad I mean think of the squad that

Beela had what he had to look at you know look for on the bench to change games I mean if Pablo you know was on the bench then we had Pablo but apart from that we were looking at kids and you know kids that weren’t good really

When you think about what was below that starting 11 like in the championship like who did we have like Tyler Roberts and like I can’t even remember I’m like who who did we have we literally didn’t have any mckin stre played a little bit here and there but we didn’t have

Anybody that could change a game and you know as option we had barard quite often on the bench who used to fill in at right back left back or Center back and Stuart Dallas just used to play everywhere so he kind of filled in a lot

Of gaps that we had but be pretty much week in week out we wield out the same team and if you take took Pablo and Ben White out of that stting 11 I mean you were L looking at a serious lack of quality and I’m not being disrespectful

To hder CER and Jack Harrison when I say that either because both of them two were really important people want to kind of scoff on hder Costa hder Costa was really important in the season that we got promoted as was Jack Harrison but they were both I mean Jack Harrison’s

Always been hot and cold like he’s always you know streaky player three assists in three and then none for four and stuff like that yeah um you’re absolutely right it was a tactic the GU Luke alen Patrick Bamford Pablo Hernandez Liam Cooper you know the star warts of that team playing out of

Their skins week in week out Stuart Dallas you know they really carried us this team has got different level of quality different level which is why I don’t think you can compare the job that Daniel far is doing to the job that be is doing one thing I will say like I

Said that’s going to probably Stoke a few fires is is I think that this team is more dominant I think this team is is I would almost say the word better I don’t think the better to watch I would much prefer to watch the belsa team

Because the the crash bang wallup of the team was fun but week in week out we are dominating these championship teams we playing off the park mate the problem that we’re having at the moment is is the clinical Edge we’re not even giving up chances I mean Melly is literally

Having nothing to do pretty much for 90 minutes week in week out I would say that this team controls games better than the belsa team did well this leads to the obvious question then B’s leads at his Prime versus this Fara team who do we think’s winning that get your uh

Get your answers in in the comments are you talking yeah but is belsa prime Prem Premier League season one no champ championship a team with Rafia in yeah that’s compare that but the championship winning team for beela versus this far team now God what a tasty match that would be we

Could do a debate on that on its own yeah our fellow West yorshire football Show correspondent uh Lewis s getting his comments in Lewis will be a happy man today after Bradford par having you yesterday as well up the a h football is a squad game and the use of substitutes

Across the three breaks you’re allowed is so crucial you’ve got strength and depth which is a great headache to have indeed yeah absolutely I mean it’s just so unusual for leads to have any strength in depth really but now it’s what I think what’s important as well

And what I see especially I think since gruev has just kind of um emerged in this team is the fact that it’s all right having depth in Squad but then when those players come in how do they perform are they up to it and you know

Sometimes it’s a case of they’re a bit cold they not played much football and they can’t quite get up to the speed of it I think now if you’re looking at the way guv’s come into the team even even cameos from like mattio Joseph where

They look super sharp and on it you know the way nonos come back into the team after not playing much football it’s not just about that depth is it’s about what they do when they actually get on the pitch as well yeah 100% and a lot of

That comes down to Fara I mean farers my management we spoke about it um last week and midweek I think it’s it’s been exceptional of the way that he’s dealt with some of these situations reintegrated integrated players back in um you know the way that he’s built some

Of these players up and he’s he’s given them minutes at the right time he’s found them in form at the right time you know part you can look at Pascal even melier to a point you know what he’s done with Archie I thought Joseph looked like a championship player when he

Played against Plymouth midweek I thought I thought he was pretty good um you know so what he’s done with Dan James I mean Dan James’s rebirth as has been you know nuts really and Somerville I think he’s taking him on another level you have got to remember the standard

That we’re playing at because some of these players were playing Premier League Football last season and weren’t good enough and are now playing championship football and are better you know they’re more than good so that it stands to reason that the opposition that they’re playing week in week out is

A lot L you know a lot less in quality so it makes sense that they’re going to look better but I still think it’s a different job in going out there and doing it I remember when sto came down and they had that unbelievable team and

Look at how how difficult of a job Gary row had there you know it takes a a proper proper man manager to be able to rebuild that and get the players back inside and believing in a structure and a system again you know BSA had to work

Tirelessly to get them players to to do what he wanted them to do and Danny farco in many ways has done exactly the same thing again you know Ellen rh’s a diff difficult place to play when the crowd starting pick up and get a bit Restless that’s hard and you have to

Really be be you know behind a manager’s plan to be able to to to stick to that so yeah Fair Credit all the credit belongs to to Daniel farker really and obviously the players but he’s done a great job yeah no absolutely um skip has it ever happened where three relegated

Teams from the Premier League all get promoted back the next season I don’t recall it I don’t think it’s ever happened has it but I just don’t think I would guess it has but I I couldn’t tell you when it think of any time I’ll have

A quick look where you chat yeah um Michael Brown I don’t think guev or ampadu come anywhere close to Calvin Phillips oh now see that that is an interesting one because Calvin Phillips in the championship under bza was Supreme and oh yeah it’s it’s a real tricky one is that because Calvin’s one

Of my lot favorite lead players of all time to be honest that that’s a tricky one isn’t it Jason gr vampo Phillips I can C Phillips was Supreme wasn’t it he was definitely Premier League standard but we spoke about this on the debate week KP is specific so is a specific

Role player would he come into this system and do the job that grev and ampadu are doing as well as what they’re doing it because KP for me is a he’s almost like a halfback he’s an out andout number four who picks the ball up and sprays balls uh left and right he’s

Good in the tackle he reads a game really really well um but would he work in the same way that that Gru with is I I’m not sure I think he could adapt to it but that’s why he struggled so much at City because he weren’t able to adapt

Into being a midfielder in a different role whereas BLC was perfect you know it was a perfect storm for for him in that that team really so um I’m not going to argue with that point because Calvin’s an England International proving it at the Premier League for leads you know

Like gr and U have got a long way to to go to do that but I’d say that U has got a similar ceiling be mind his age he’s 22 23 he’s quite a bit younger than than KP um I would say that U’s got huge huge

Potential and I mean I love grev what a player he is what a player he is like I’ve said this before if he was quicker he’d be a premier league player right now the only thing that stops him from being a top top player is his pace is he

Good enough for the premier league if we get up is he good enough to stay in that role can he kind of develop for I mean you can’t develop Pace I suppose but you know can he improve to Lev where he’s good enough It’s Tricky I don’t know

Yeah I really don’t know because I love everything that he does but he’s able to do it because the pace doesn’t hamper him enough in this division because the players around him are not lightning quick whereas in the Premier League the pace of the game in the Midfield is so

Much quicker um he struggles with his right foot as well he really struggles with his right foot if it’s on his left is fine but so I don’t know um I don’t know I don’t know that’s a tough one that’s a that that is a tough one H

Getting back to today uh yesterday’s game rather um the first goal um I mean you talk about missing stuff I mean what a celebration as well did you kind of when you first saw that going where you like oh it’s hand ball definitely like

It’s 100% I just waited for it to yeah I mean I just waited for it to be called and then I kind of convinced myself that he’ not touched it so that’s why the referee had given it he had just gone straight in um but he very clearly did I

Mean it’s just a bizarre goal and I mean again when I talk about the referee in standards it’s not like I’m being biased it was both ways I mean it was a terrible decision it was hand ball all day and I mean Pat then wields away celebrating the fact that he’d scored it

With his elbow as well which is pure [ __ ] Hower it I mean if you’re the referee you just at that point be like oh okay I’m ball I don’t know what to say I mean yeah yeah of part in it um yeah what do you

Say about it I mean like I I’m not I don’t feel sorry for Rin because at the end of the day I think we’ have gone on to win the game regardless goals change games I get that but I mean not long after that we should have had a Stonewall penalty you know

We is what it is it happens don’t it we had it earlier on this season where West Brom you know shouldn’t have had a goal um Ellen RH yeah you know that was clearly hand ball and it was missed so it it happens do it it does it does

Indeed um then it was time for uh Mr Somerville to uh to come into it and um I mean the penalty I saw farer comments after he was saying he doesn’t understand the young players and why they do these things but I mean he I mean what season

This guy is having I mean he’s just exception I mean the speed the close control I mean you know for that his first goal yesterday the way he takes that ball and I mean how do you stop a play like that really I mean it’s just

When he’s on it I mean he’s and he has been on it for the majority of this season they can’t deal with him can they they just can’t deal with him he’s just I mean he is a premier league player really he’s one of probably maybe five

Or six that are out and out Premier League players he could slot straight into to a lot of Premier League teams and not look out a place um it can be hit and miss sometimes it can go missing in games but the the big difference with

Some of thez is that at any point he can change a game even when he isn’t having a good game he can just flip it and change a game uh he he was excellent yesterday tormented him all game to be honest he was having having fun um he

Got quite a bit of time rested yesterday as he did didn’t set the game against Plymouth which I think is good I think he needed a bit of a rest because he did have a a few stagnant performances even still he will contribu in but um yeah I

Thought it was uh it was excellent mate it was excellent it wasn’t my man of the match my man of the match was I know some of all got it um but yeah it was excellent so what man of the match why R then obviously was spoken about what

Players and how well he did yesterday just I mean he’s just something else isn’t it he just completely ran the game I mean he completely ran the game he was bossing two three ran players off the ball I mean his work rate would track him back and dispossessing uh rotheram

And then starting attacks on his own I mean he opened him up five six seven times he literally could have had five or six assists on the day he could have had a couple of goals as well I wish he’d just keep his composure when he gets towards the edge of the ball

He just Shanks them over the bar but I mean he put two or three through for Pat um just unbelievable I mean there were one a long ball over at top to him where he killed it first touch and then tried to turn it back on inside I don’t know

If you’ve seen that one on it his left foot and and the keeper kind of smothered it I mean just just a free cover player he’s so good and he he were quick yesterday he just looks like he’s having a blast the whole time it’s just

Like he’s like having a blast and teams just can’t deal with with him he’s a cheat Cod he’s an absolute cheat code and every week I see him play the 10 I retract what I said previously about him not having the the the you know the out

Andout ski I think I thought he could do a job there I didn’t realize that he could do it to the ability that he is because he’s doing it he’s doing it without the intricacies that a normal number 10 has you know you think of when buendia was in the championship as an

Example he was a premier league player all day in the championship but he he he stood out in them little half space I never thought that R could really do that and he’s he’s adding that to everything else that he can do as well he’s just so good it’s so much fun to

Watch as well I wonder if he’ll be able to transfer that to Premier League if we get there again I’m always having a caveat B it if we get there but I mean his ceiling is huge I mean do you know what I actually think you know some I

Think there’s this thing around Georg genor where it was like oh he wasn’t very good when he came in in January last year I I’ve heard this too played when he played against Fulham in the FA Cup he was actually really good Alan Sheron comms was digging him out but so

Unnecessary so off was Alan he had he had the header didn’t he that hit the post that day chip as well yeah yeah he was honestly he got absolutely nothing like got no game time at all like I just and it was almost like oh he got work to

Do this season I was like what has he I think he’ll end up playing out on the wing I I feel almost certain that if we got to the Premier League we would replace the 10 position and he would end up playing right wi that’s that’s why

Yesterday in that right wi position what are you what’s no no he didn’t play on the right he played on the left yesterday so when when pero came on um some of went off and Gio went on the left n no stayed on the right um and I

Mean again he offers the same things out there that he offers in the in the middle really and you just get more space I think he’ll end up out on the right because because he’s naturally left footed it’ll allow him to cut in but because he’s strong on the right he

Can go down the wing go go down the side as well well but I think he’ll end up playing in them them positions because with a bit more space I think he’s deadly when he’s got space to run into people teams can’t handle it and he’s

Managing to develop that in the mo at the moment in a central position where there is less space but the players are not as good whereas when he then plays in the Premier League he’s gonna have to deal with better defensive midfielders on the weekly like every single game

They’ve conceded nine more goals than leads and I think it tells a little story or I’m hoping it tells as a little story the fact that leaking a little bit of goals I remember it switched going on a similar thing where they had some extraordinary like 32 it seem to be 32

Every week twps which where the behind and then they pull it back and when you start getting into those type of games sometimes it can signify that there is a [ __ ] in the armor and it’s not this kind of Unstoppable machine that’s that’s going to Steamroller for the rest

Of the season so hopefully hopefully it does show that they they are vulnerable in that way and we can overturn it because at the minute you know I mean what XG teams doing against leads at the moment you it’s not there’s a couple of comments there that kind of budge on it

So Mark and Gail have just said um Sim similar things basically saying and this is the facts like if you have a look over the the 31 games of this season lead’s the top of the league for XG so we should have scored the most

Goals we we’re top of the league for XG points we’re top of the league for um chances against us created so we we allow the opposition to create the least chances we are literally the best team in the division on paper when it comes to statistics we have the most

Possession we have the mo like yeah I think possession is Southampton because that’s just how um uh Russell Martin Russell Martin plays plays a game but in terms of the ones that actually do kind of Point towards points we’re top of all of them now the facts are is football’s

Not played on paper like you still have to put the ball in the back of the net and this is what Daniel parer was saying midweek about us being wasteful in front of goal and he’s absolutely spot on but we were like this under belela we needed

Their division our team really is a Premier League team at the top of the division below so unless we’re playing Leicester and Southampton and I know football you know it has ways of throwing things up but most weeks we should be going out there and winning every single game because the team is

That much better than everybody with you know rotheram yesterday their best player is Morrison and Lee peler and like Jordan hugall like it’s a different the Gap is massive it’s absolutely massive I mean what will Morrison doing lead salute for yesterday by the way you what the hell was that cuz someone

What mesa’s done is is he set them up in a way where they are almost with the level of ability that they’ve got again talking about that gap between the teams that they’re playing most weeks they are just so much better that eventually will

At Ellen Ro on that last day of the Season as well which position would you rather take would you rather take their points and their fixtures or would you rather have a bit of a deficit but our fixtures i’ I think I’d rather take our position um I I’d rather be the Chaser

Than the chase um P personally and running into this and I think our fixtures are really favorable I think we’ve played most of the the tough games I mean we’ve played Leicester away and won we’ve played South Southampton away and lost we’ve played switch twice we’ve played Hull away we’ve played West Brom

Both home and away um Sunderland away have we played them at home yeah so away we played sundland yeah yeah but you know the teams up and arounders I think we’ve played most of them um certainly all of them away so they’ve just got to come

Ellen r i mean Ellen Rood right now is is a fortress I mean it’s Daniel farer keeps on breaking record after record of you know unbeaten runs and you know goals not conceded and all the rest of it and I mean it’s super impressive because I said this to you last week

Considering the the the atmosphere at Ellen rad and how bad the form was last season I mean to to rebuild that has been super impressive really and we’ve not apart from the opening game of the season we’ve not looked like we’re going to lose at them no no it’s been yeah so

Impressive I guess the only concern not concern I mean if we’re we’re trying to find something that we’re a little bit is a that we’ve got some Yorkshire Derby away from home so we got Huddersfield away we got Sheffield Wednesday away you know I know it’s not technically York

But got middles BR away um that’s the only kind of thing I can see where because it’s a bit of a derby and it’s it’s there’s a lot of uh hatred towards leads from those clubs that it could add that spice to the game that that perhaps

Knocks us off kill her a little bit but we don’t look like we’re gonna the facts are brownie right like yeah again you’re going to get promoted you’re going to finish one of them top two spots you have to go into them games we all have them every single team has

Premier League winners and FA Cup winners not that long ago they probably look at it go there never in a million years should they have got relegate got themselves relegated in from a situation like that Southampton Premier League star warts been there a long time um and

Really kind of shot themselves in the foot as well and then you look at leads as well the fact that it were our third season in the Premier League and you know by then we should have been getting comfortable and it imploded as well so

Three huge teams his Al and you know it was there was a a good chance it was going to be like this just with the quality of the teams coming down all three of us gave um particularly Nottingham Forest an absolute free pass at staying up I mean

We absolutely B it yeah between the three of us especially us and Leicester because sa Anton were dross last season they were like let’s not reite history and we were to be fair especially second half of the Season we were really really poor but that were because of recr

Recruitment and and everything else that was going on behind behind the scenes you know finishing the season with Sam allise in charge says everything didn’t it but between the three of us we absolutely let them off the hook we let Everton off the hook because of how dire

Their situation have been you know and we arguably let Bournemouth off the hook as well because I know bouth ended up finishing um quite securely but if they’ have been in the bottom three earlier on in the season the pressure is then different the the circumstances and situations are different and they were

Pretty crap last year as well so you know I I I think we made it easy for for them teams to to stay up last season really yeah but yeah he’s never been stronger the top of the championship has never been this strong never no you

Wonder if those three teams go back into the Premier League though how much tougher the Premier League is going to be basically next year and and that quest for survival next year is when it all kind of kicks in you know I was Ching to lead fan yesterday and we were

Saying it’s you know if you get promoted from a championship you’re buzzing obviously and then that reality kicks in in the Premier League where you might win one out of every six or seven games you know you’re back into that whole that whole cycle but hopefully with um

Recruitment wise are you recruiting for the Premier League Championship are you doing both I mean it’s It’s Tricky isn’t it because have to fall don’t they I think they’ll probably have lists for both and they’ll be having conversations with players that would probably fall into both and and there’ll be some players

That’ll be like yeah regardless of what division you’re in I’ll come um if you’re in the Premier League I will if if you’re in the championship or won’t um I think any signing that we make has to be with the Premier League in mind regardless of what division we’re in and

Because you you need to be able to be then self-sufficient when you get there and and I’d say that most of this squad has been put together with that kind of mindset um I don’t think any single one of them players that have signed for us this summer and you know Conor robits

Even sees themselves as Championship players I think they see themselves as Premier League players in in waiting so yeah it’s a tough one though because we’ve got the added situation with all these loans and what happens with them depending on what division we’re in so yeah that let’s not deal with the stress

Of that let’s come back to that no that is going to be the interesting thing as well it’s not really going to be like if it happens when we got promoted in 2018 because that was just celebrating the fact that we were going back up and it

Like I I I have never criticized him going forward I always thought he looked okay going forward defensively he’s just terrible but he has improved but again we have to put it in the context of the players that he’s playing against but I’m I’m I’m massive fan of of supporting
