  1. My fender is mounted to my front suspension with the same sort of clamps. I would be hesitant to put a LOT of weight on the rack, the clamps can come a bit loose and shift out of place due to vibration. Aside from that check the reviews and see if anyone has had any major failures I guess.

  2. I have bought a few items from these weirdly named online vendors and had mixed results as far as quality or service. But what bugs me about them is they tend to just disappear. For example if you want to order another one because you liked the first one so much but you can’t find that company anymore they just disappear. I don’t like that it makes me nervous and I’m probably not gonna buy from weird little companies like that anymore.

  3. Get fenders too. The added weight is negligible and they make your bike a lot more practical.

  4. Stop buying from corporations. Go to Facebook, you can get great cargo rack used for $20. Better yet, go to your local bike shop.

I’m not opposed to ordering things from these weird amazon brands, but I would say that with anything to do with the front fork you want to be a lot more careful. Your front rack or fork failing has huge potential to cause serious injury or death

Depends on your loads. I’d definitely not push that 15 kg limit. Best solution would be a bike/fork that is actually designed to take a rack – but that is a lot more $$$.

  7. I bought the exact same rack under a different name, the clamps weren’t compatible with my rigid fork and the struts weren’t quite long enough to bolt to my eyelets as shown on the third photo on the product page. The clamps might be suitable for a sus fork but I’d be wary of it under load. My only other concern would be the corrosion resistance of the included bolts.

  8. I have it. It carries the groceries I put on my basket just fine. It’s a bit heavy but it does its job. You can see pictures on my profile if you search through it.

Look for real brand names. Not saying this product will be bad but QWERTYUI isn’t a real business, which is indicative that this is just cheap Chinese dropship crap. Check your local stores or dig deeper to find a real company

  10. ive got a mtn bike myself and installed a rear rack years ago. few mods later (wick fruit basket secured with paracord and elastic mesh covering) and i’m able to haul wayy more in the back pretty securely. usually groceries like bread or bananas

If the cargo is precious i’ll stick a baseball cap in the situation for added security
