Recently got back into cycling again after my wife bought me an Orbea hardtail for Christmas. Despite being in my early 40s, approaching 20 stone and totally unfit I’ve been enjoying getting out for a few hours in the saddle. Today I completed my first 50km ride.
With most of my riding on pathways/cycle routes and a bit of road I had been looking at fitting a rigid fork to my current bike but found this group and now looking at gravel bikes.

That looks great!! 50km is a good distance too, so you should indeed feel proud.
