Use rubbing alcohol to put them on instead of WD40. The alcohol makes them easy to slide on but then evaporates, leaving the natural adhesion of the rubber intact. WD40 doesn’t evaporate.
In the 80’s we used hairspray, which also works great.

you probably ride harder than I do, but one way to prevent that from happening is using thicker grips. Some of my bikes have such beefy grips that I can’t see that happening at all, these ones look thin and easily twisted.

Spit. Once it dries the natural sugars in your spit dries its basically glue. And it’s free.

WD40 might be your problem. I’ve always used cheap hairspray to put on grips. Helps them slide on the bars easily when wet and then once it dries it gets sticky and holds them in place.

Dont use wd40 on grips. It leaves behind a residue unless whipped off and degreased. It also has chemicals in it that could degrade the rubber over time.
Use rubbing alcohol, it actually evaporates, doesnt leave behind a residue, and wont give you throttle grip.

Dont know if youre looking for bars, but the ck bars from premium have knurled metal on the grip tubes to stop slippage

Put them on dry using zip ties. Put four or 5 zip ties inside the grips & slide them on the bars. Set the grips where you want them to be & then pull out the ties one by one.

I used Primo Martinez grips and swore by them. I think that I over twist when I’m riding and I’ve shredded my grips but these are so thick and shapeless no one would ever know

We sell loads of Hoder grips, this seems pretty common with them, softer compounds will do that.
