Hello everyone, and sorry for another ‘is this worn’ post. Before I start, I have to say that I will clean my bike and drivetrain so no worries about that. I have been riding my bike for some time now and I’ve started to wonder if it is time to replace the cassette and front chainring(s). I will replace the chain (this will be third chain), and I know they say that you replace the chain, and if it skips, you replace the cassette… But I will be ordering from an online shop and would love to save some money on shipping and just order all of the parts in one order, if possible. Also, did you ever replace the jockey/pulley wheels? Thank you, have a nice day 🙂

Looks like your largest 2 chainrings get the most use and are starting to get ramped. Same with some of your middle gears on the cassette. If it’s not skipping yet, I wouldn’t be surprised if you start noticing some skipping soon in certain gears. But you might be able to make it through another chain before needing to swap either set of gears. Maybe buy the parts (and a 2nd chain) now just to have them for when the time comes? Good to use a fresh chain at the same time when you do replace it all.
I can’t comment on what you’re supposed to do with pulley wheels, I’ve never replaced one except when replacing the whole derailleur. I think lube is more important than wear on those little guys.
Goodbye Entire Drive Train.
