Hey Everyone, Cracked my 2017 Colony Endeavour frame yesterday and looking into buying a new complete build. Don’t know what brands to look into though, I’ve looked at some Sunday bikes like the Primer park and Forecaster Park but don’t know if they’re any good. Any suggestions would be great, price range is around $1000 AUD and would suit an intermediate skilled rider

What you need to do is buy aftermarket parts slowly, starting with a new frame. Why would you buy another low quality complete?
If you build your own you can do it under or around $1000 and have a bike that retails for far above that and have exactly what you want. Most of the trendy bikes now have different levels of quality ,pick a nice frame that is 100% chromoly and go from there . Many bike sales websites have discounted high end frames at the beginning of the year because many people just buy off the shelf models not bare frames and when their inventory doesn’t move they knock a couple to a few hundred dollars off of the nice stuff. You just have to keep an eye out and have a little patience.The frame cranks rims are the most expensive ( & most important)parts after that the build is fairly economical even with slightly higher price point parts. I personally think everybody should build their own bike at least once, it gives you a new perspective and a sense of accomplishment and you learn things on top of having a sweet ride.
As others have said and will say- get a nice frame and build around that, piece by piece. I personally enjoyed learning the ins and outs this way- and it keeps you up to date with quality brands and preferential geometry. You might find after some trial and error (or with charts), your ideal crank arm length, frame geometry, bar height and angle, etc.
Opposed to a complete with less specific, potentially lower quality parts that “fit everyone”.
A hobby that can last a life time is worth investing the time and money into, imo/exp.
Tip; if you’re tall (6ft plus), go for or at least try out the 21-22” frames and tall/big bars (hoders etc)- your back and bunny hop game will thank you later.

You’re going to keep breaking shit getting completes. Just get a new frame, why buy all new parts when only one thing broke? And completes will never be as good as a full aftermarket bike.
Just buy a sweet tooth frame.
Sorry about your frame man. Colony don’t have the best track record of making durable products. Being a park focused brand, they tend to favor weight saving over strength.

Look on FB Marketplace or other similar sites or apps where you live first, then I’d honestly buy a Kink Whip, use the rest of the money to upgrade it, & you’d have a solid ass budget build.
I’m a Sunday “fan boy” even recommending this. Lol.
I got a brand new 1 on a trade like 2mos ago, & it was so nice, I kept it & now am upgrading it with all Cinema parts, I ride rear brakes, so idc the the hardware isn’t removable, & it’s HEAVY, at 27lbs, but that’s why I said with the extra money you’d save, use it to shave some weight off it
