My local specialized dealer is selling the Epic Hardtail Comp for $2k usd or so. Seems to be way too good to be true for the carbon frame, SID fork, GX groupset.
Am I missing something? Was looking for a xc bike for road/light trails and I think this may be the bike I’m looking for.

It’s a great time to be in the market for a bike. If it’s a local dealer it certainly can’t hurt to go look. I got a killer deal this winter on a bike too, from what I’ve read companies bought way too much during the pandemic and are trying to offload it now.
A ton of bikes are ~ 30+% off right now.
They have their Stumpjumper EVO Elite Alloy on sale for $3,499 down from $6,000. Only S1/2 left on the website though.
