I boiled all options between these two:

Canyon Grizl 7 with grx rx820

[https://www.canyon.com/de-de/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/al/grizl-7/3715.html?dwvar\_3715\_pv\_rahmenfarbe=R075\_P04#productDetailModalTriggerGridContainer](https://www.canyon.com/de-de/gravel-bikes/adventure/grizl/al/grizl-7/3715.html?dwvar_3715_pv_rahmenfarbe=R075_P04#productDetailModalTriggerGridContainer)

Rose Backroad grx rx 810 AL

Anyone can help me why the price difference considering the specs?

Only internal issue I have is that i liked the Canyon but I really liked the Rose…its just the kinda big price difference thats making me doubt (Future wise)

The rose is a beautiful bike and a more boutique brand. Canyon is a direct to consumer large company. Canyon has more production and buying power than rose so their bikes are cheaper.

If you can justify it I would get the rose 10/10 times.

  2. Rose with Apex 1×12 would also be a good option https://www.rosebikes.de/rose-backroad-al-apex-xplr-1×12-2710905?product_shape=leberkas

Either bike you pick from those will be a good pick, but you can almost get a carbon bike for 2500, it seems a bit much to me for an aluminium bike

For example https://www.bike24.com/p2575559.html bit this one comes with 2×10 which is a bit workse than 2×11 on the Grizl.

The Rose and Grizl you picked are pretty close in specs otherwise, with 2x you’d get a bit more range and smaller steps between gears, but with 1x you get a bit more simplicity, which is very handy off-road.
