Heyyy !
I’m the more than happy owner of a Cannondale TopStone Alloy. Started as a commuter, then a full gravel bike, and now I want to experience some road riding and gravel racing.
So, I’m looking for a new pair of wheels around the 1000€ mark. Coming for an MTB background I don’t know all the brands and I don’t have anything to refer to. Most of my friends ride Hunt Gravel Race, or Zipp 303s.
Basically I want 700c, thru-axle, centerlock, tubeless (carbon ?), wheels for a tyre width in between 28c and 38c depending on what I plan to ride.
Any recommandation ? Any brand in particular that stand out for this budget ? What depth to go for ? What do you think about far east brand like Lightbicycle ?
Thanks guys !

I got myself two sets of Fulcrums – Racing 4 DB and Rapid Red 500, for road and gravel tires respectively. Racing 4 DB could easily handle 38c so maybe consider them? DT Swiss is also pretty popular with the gravel croud and in general.
Also, I love your flower stickers 🙂
Light Bicycle every time.
