  1. So it’s likely some combination of the brakes not being perfectly centered on the rotor, the pads being not worn, the calipers not retracting fully, the rotor being out of true, and/or the wheel being out of true.

    Some of that is fixable by you, some of that is best left to a bike shop. It should be an easy fix though and definitely worth doing.
