This bike was built by me about 3 years ago. I haven’t ridden it much since my 2 chain design isn’t great. I’m thinking of getting some derailleur wheels and attaching them to the spring concept in the last photo. Ideas or other designs helpful. I’m 61 and having gears on this bike is a must. I know most folks run a single chain and single speed
Also I wasn’t able to get the derailleur to work with the chain going straight to the top crank

Some lube would be my first move.
I like using a ghost ring as a tensioner. Once you figure out what size you need, it’s easy to install and seriously trips people out.
Need to see the whole bike.
I don’t know if this is possible, but a one-crank solution with a triangluar running chain and tensioning sprocket on the lower front would look awesome.
