I have what I believe is a freewheel from a late 90’s Mongoose mountain bike.
Spins freely one direction but not the other.
Need to remove to replace a damaged spoke.
How to remove and what tools needed?
I can’t see any splines where a tool might insert.
I can read: 9059 SunRACE HGII
Any help would be much appreciated!

[You need this tool. Watch the videos on the page](https://www.parktool.com/en-us/product/freewheel-remover-fr-1-3)
In addition to the freewheel remover tool that u/MGTS linked to, you will also need a large wrench to turn the tool. I generally use a 1″ combination wrench but you can also use an adjustable wrench (12″ minimum, 15″ even better). Freewheels can sometimes be a real PITA to remove because they are on there so tight, so you need some good leverage in order to get it to loosen up.
Freewheel tool. Lefty loosey.
I’ve never used a freewheel tool. I’ve done a destructive removal and install a new one, which requires no tool.
