  1. It is a pretty important piece of a folding bike. I wouldn’t trust titanium over steel in this instance, although I guess if you lived in an environment that had a lot of humidity it might make sense to go with titanium.

  2. They have bushings, those are the parts that get used up, not the hinge pin. And some plastic spacers. Look up brompton rear hinge pin kit.

  3. And when they say they can only be replaced three times ish, it’s not actually true, I got mine replaced and they didn’t need to increase the hole size
