Nice bike and looks like a fair to good price. If it fits and it’s what you want and you can afford it, it’ll be a machine. Personally I prefer 2,4 tires but otherwise it’s a dream hardtail in my eyes and the color is banging.
Dream bike:
That’s a good spec. If the frame and forks are in good condition – you may need to research known issues – then it’s a great bike for a good price. And 500km are warm up miles, so I wouldn’t expect any servicing issues.
The only alternative I can see at a similar price range, and new, would be the Merida Big Trail – [https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Merida-Big-Trail-700-Mountain-Bike-2023-Hardtail-MTB_244366.htm?variations=colour:Blue,size:L%2520(17%2522)&sku=825129](https://www.tredz.co.uk/.Merida-Big-Trail-700-Mountain-Bike-2023-Hardtail-MTB_244366.htm?variations=colour:Blue,size:L%2520(17%2522)&sku=825129)
Spec is slightly lower in places (prefer the SLX brakes and the 4-pot rear), but you would be buying new. Sure too that there’s an EU retailer you can find one from as well.
If warranty gives piece of mind, then look to get a new bike. If you know how to check for damage or trust the seller, then for the money you’re getting a great bike.
Good deal, it depends on the condition of the parts, cassette, chain, cables…
And also if the size fits you!
Fair price
