This is cross posted from biking, because I realized after posting there that this might actually be a more appropriate sub. Looking for opinion on the bar tape and saddle color for this trek 520 build. It has a campy 9 speed “racing triple” group.
I have a brooks pro in honey with copper rails lying around, but I’m wondering if that color will be too close of a match with the paint. I normally don’t do black leather but I’m almost wondering if it’s actually a good fit here? Or maybe dark dark brown.
Curious y’all’s thoughts. Sorry that the picture is trash and hella crowded. It will get beauty shots when the build is done.

Oh, dark brown or black, no honey. I’ve been digging the classic look the the black Brooks lately so…
Black Brooks saddle and matching pleather tape would be my choice. This also works best with the brake lever hoods.
