Hello, can anybody tell me why a brand new shimano CN-HG601-11 doesn’t fit on a kinda new SM-CRM80 32t Shimano M8000?

Check another chain on that chainring, check that new chain on a different chainring. If it’s a new chain and the old one fit it leads me to believe it is the chain.
I once had this issue and it was the chainring. I was using a cheap non branded chainring.

Are the narrow and wide teeth lined up with the correct width holes in the chain – sometimes there is enough slack for it to work the wrong way for a bit, then get progressively worse

11sp Shimano chains are directional… Hard to see from pics, but are the letters/writing facing out towards you?

are there any part numbers on the chainring itself?
Look at the 32 tooth, it has slightly curved teeth, and the narrow wide variation is obvious.

That’s a fake chainring. Compare your teeth with the ones from pictures. Yours all look the same. The genuine ones have narrow and wide teeth.

Chainring just looks weird. Like the teeth aren’t deep enough, and too wide?
Just looks wrong overall.

I think I found a reason. I was having a very close look on the chainring and found some weird dent marks on them, this might cause that the chain couln’t slip entirely on it. I was a bit blinded by the overall very good condition this second-hand chainring has. thanks for everyone quick help!
