On the Escape, it looks like the front derailleur shifter is missing so you effectively have a 1x 7. You can probably replace/install it. Just make sure it fits you.

Buy the bike that fits you. Don’t compromise on fit. That blue frame is huge.

I like the blue Giant. But I would ask him to move the kickstand from the red Giant to the blue Giant. The unnamed blue one is missing rear brakes. The red Giant looks like aluminum which I’m not a fan of. And somebody else mentioned the missing shifter. Offer him $40 for the blue Giant without the kickstand, or $50 with.

The first one, the blue giant, is an og steel giant! Not necessarily worth more, but very cool to see, they haven’t made steel bikes for like 30 years.
