These are GXP XO cranks. I don’t know what bottom bracket I have.
I took the cranks off to clean them but didn’t take the BB apart. I only lubed the outside surface of the bearing but not inside it as I don’t have the tool to remove the bb. Is this sound normal?
The bearing on the right (left in shown video) is choppy but still smooth enough with the crank on.
Do I need new bearings?
Is this sound normal?
What should I do?

Lubricating the outside does nothing but attract dirt and grime.
Remove the BB, grease it, and see what happens.
