I had a suspicion that my caliper was bleeding oil from the nipple.4 days ago I cleaned the bleed nipple carefully – inside the nipple hole, around it. I made sure there was no oil. Today I checked to see if it was leaking and sadly I did find new oil.
The caliper is bought brand new, I did the installation myself. I tightened the bleed screw but I don’t have a torque wrench so I’m not sure if it’s up to spec. I have a fear of overtightening, but is it possible that I did overtighten and something got crushed inside causing the bleed?
Is there something I can do or check or is this a problem only a bike shop can fix?

Did you follow the bleed procedure properly? If you’ve over filled the system I can see the pressure causing a slow leak. Also, I can’t recall but I think there is a robber o ring on the bleed screw.
Edit: take everything I just said with a grain of salt. I’m no expert and only providing a guess (at best).
